Good size, warm room (in fact we always stay in the same one), large, secure ski room within a few metres of the hotel entrance, bus to the ski slopes stops right outside the hotel every ten minutes, good restaurant with wide choice of dishes especially the Italian pizzas from a proper pizza oven. But this restaurant is extremely popular, so make sure you book a table before going out for the day. Fantastic offer this year our ski passes were a third of the normal price because we bought them through the hotel on arrival. St. Moritz is really expensive, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Also this year the internet access was wireless, not wired and really fast (something you don't find in every hotel).

Piled on lettuce, tomatoes, corn, bits of boiled egg, diced raw onions, and sliced sausage, covered with house dressing. Unlike US salad bars, you only get one plate and one pass through the European salad bars. Wife's CHF 39 Wiernersnitzel was veal coated with bread crumbs, French fries and broccoli. Well presented and a good portion of meat, although very thin. French fries were thin and tasty, with minimal amount of salt, just the way I liked them. My CHF 40 fried medium sliced beef came with potatoes and broccoli, and bernese sauce, a yellow buttery sauce. Would have preferred good old fashioned beef gravy. The beef was undercooked, and more on the rare side. Gave all the rare portions to the wife, and ate some of her dish. Our last and most expensive meal in Switzerland. Very elegant restaurant, but I was dressed in T-shirt, shorts, and sandals, and was not tossed out of the restaurant, as temperatures in mid 80s outside.

The Poke with salmon was fresh and attractively served. The sauce was advertised to be slightly spicy but it easily not. Three desserts were ordered - two chocolate cakes were okay but the tiramisu was not enjoyed. I did have dessert, which leads me to service. Four different servers interacted with us. POOR is not too strong a description. I had used the restroom as soon as we were seated. Within a minute of return we were asked to order. I explained I hadn't read beyond the first page and was briskly told they return in 5 minutes. Ten minutes later a different person came to take the order. Two were asked for a drink order before walking away. I had to search out the waiter to ask for a glass of wine (limited choices - no list offered). The food was served by a third person. No one checked on us during the meal and the 3 pasta diners actually wanted bread as none had been served. While I was still eating, the first waitress cleared the 3 pasta dishes and quickly told the dessert options (no menu offered). She brought them while I was still eating my dinner. I never was asked if I would like a dessert. No one came with the check so after 20 minutes of waiting we had to find one of the 4 who had served us to ask for the check.
