Built in the 3rd century BC and unearthed in the 15th century, this "talking statue" is a symbol of protest. Since the 16th century, people posted pamphlets and letters onto Pasquino to speak against the government. Until recently, letters and signs were posted on the statue; now there's a bulletin at the foot of Pasquino.
