I was looking for some refreshing shrimp tacos and these were exactly what I was looking for, they came lightly breaded and fried until crispy and perfectly cooked. They have very friendly workers, it feels like a cozy, family run restaurant. Don't skip the Jamaica!

Clean, neat friendly! Loved the grilled shrimp taco with a white sauce, but it killed the softly grilled corn tortillas. Chef brought it out with a fork, he knew this would happen! Carne asada was tasty, also soft corn tortilla but it held up better. Red sauce hot, green sauce was savory, salty and delicious but not hot. Sides of cucumber and grilled onions were devoured as well. No leftovers but I only spent $6.25! Next time three shrimp tacos for sure. Great little spot.

We absolutely love La Taqueria De Jalisco and drive all the way from East Mesa. Family owned and ran. We are having them do catering for our son's college graduation party. Hands down the best Mexican food I've had. You are missing out if you don't swing in.

Living where I live it's hard to find decent tacos so while visiting the area I had to make it count. I ended up here on the last day of my visit and it hit all the spots. Wish I found it sooner but glad I had it at all. Hope they're proud of their food, they should be.

Cash only! My 5 yr old son and I like street tacos. He is a big fan of tacos that are filled to the brim with well marinated and juicy meats. This place is very good for quality flavor street tacos. We had a splint of carnitas, shrimp, fried fish, barilla, chicken, and carne asada. I'm not adventurous enough for tongue or other body parts, but they were on the menu,.too. Cash only!

DO NOT MISS THIS SPOT. I went tonight for taco Tuesday and I have officially found my FAVORITE taco shop around the corner. $1.50 select tacos on Tuesday's and they are DELICIOUS. Cash only with an ATM inside so super convenient and the tacos were fantastic. The beans and rice were perfect pairing as well. It's the perfect small local little taco shop with BIG flavor. GREAT red and green salsas. Chile toreados served with all tacos. EL MEJOR. Leave big tips for these people, great service & they deserve every penny. I can't wait to go back.

I want to gatekeep this place so bad. BUT they deserve ALL the business in the world. I just moved to Arizona, I didn't really like tacos before... but I do now! This is what I guess would be referred to as a hole in the wall, it's sort of in a sketchy area and the food is amazing. FOOD: Definitely recommend the Cabeza, Chorizo, Al Pastor and Asada we get a combination of that as our usual order. I am here for taco tuesday and for dinner we get roughly 12 tacos and if we can't decide on what to eat this is our default. Maybe I'm over exaggerating how good this place is but I don't think I am. This place is Cash Only and they have an ATM inside. It seems family owned there are usually 2-3 of the same folks working every week I go. Support local and this is such a good spot.

Visiting from California and needed my taco fix. I found this place and stopped in for 5 tacos and an agua Fresca. Every taco I got was flavorful and delicious. I have a huge smile on my face and recommend this place for great tacos. I was short a dollar and the sweet lady ringing me up told me not to worry about it. I appreciate the gesture and will definitely be back to visit again. The vibe is nice inside and has a tv to look at when sitting inside. Portions are not skimped and have a decent amount of meat.

Maybe our mistake was getting burritos instead of ordering tacos, which this place is better known for, but we were not very impressed. At $29 for 3 chicken burritos, we paid about the same amount we would've spent at Chipotle, but the burritos were smaller than a Chipotle burrito. I was still hungry after finishing mine, so it's not a full meal. We ordered to go, but there were a few tables if you'd prefer to eat there. read more

First time customer, and I was very happy! I came in craving a chorizo burrito, and I left with a chorizo burrito AND caldo de res. Weird combo, but the caldo de res was calling my name! Both were very delicious. The staff was very nice, and helpful with answering my different questions. It's a small place, but very home-y. I will be returning to try their tacos!! read more

We stopped by for lunch today and man were we happy that we did. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, and the interior is small with only a few tables, but don't let that stop you from enjoying a great meal for a reasonable price. The menu is actually pretty broad, but we were there for tacos, and they were fantastic. I had 1 each of the cabeza, asada and carnitas and they were all excellent. My wife had the biria queso and they were good as well. The portions were very generous and a good value at $3, but on Tuesday they are a steal for $2. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed! read more

Do not let the outside deceive you. These tacos are INSANE. Got the carnitas, asada, and pastor and wow did they not disappoint. Crispy carnitas, flavorful pastor, and they serve with carmelized onion. Only one guy was running it and he was quick and attentive. Cannot wait to come back. read more

It's a hole in the wall that only takes cash. Old school! The tripitas and lengua were pretty good. The tortillas were moist and adequate taste wise. Where they lost me a bit was the asada and pastor just not flavored right. Not sure what happened. The rice was also good but the beans lacked salt. Horchata and Jamica had great flavor. We did enjoy the service as they came out quickly and made sure we had sauces, napkins and utensils. Perhaps my expectations were too high. read more

I don't think I've ever gone looking for a good taco place before, but this place was excellent. Tacos were cheap and delicious. Service is friendly. Stuff is made to order so this isn't a quick stop place at lunch on a weekday, so just keep that in mind. Would def go again if I'm ever in pheonix again. read more

LEGIT!! Tiny little, place with the real deal Mexican street food. I'm all about tacos and tortas and unfortunately he was out of lengua the night that I got there. The super nice gentleman working talked me in to the beef cheek and I have to say I'm not sure I'll ever look back. By the end I had asada, beef cheek and tripe tacos as well as horchata- OMG is all I can say. I'll be back, many, many, times. FYI it's cash only. read more

Misters weren't working, had our dog with us and hot outside. Regardless, food was good, did not care for the mushroom enchiladas, but everything else was good. A lunch bill of $60.00 is a little bit high but will go there again with my hubby and eat inside. read more

This place is legit authentic. No thrills, nothing fancy, but pure amazing burst of flavor and friendly cheerful greetings. Tucked away in a small shopping strip, but absolutely should be a go to for delicious full flavor tacos. We picked up carne asada, Pollo asada, carnitas, Al pastor, and chorizo, they were all mouth watering delicious. Al pastor is my personal favorite, so much flavor. The taco crew is always friendly too, even while dealing with lines longer than a DMV on a Monday. If you don't know what to order, here's the move: Get one taco or an especial if you're a cheese enthusiast, a medium fry with your topping of choice, and guac with chips. I ordered the veggie tacos with roasted sweet potatoes (skin on, which was absolutely the right call), pepitas, feta, and all the right toppings. Whoever prepped those sweet potatoes deserves a raise because they were cut into the perfect sized pieces. Every bite had a little sweetness, a little crunch, a little saltiness... it just worked. My dining partner ordered the barbacoa tacos, and I didn't even have to ask if they were good. The involuntary "Mmm..." after the first bite answered that question. Four tacos disappeared in record time, followed by, "I could've eaten two more." That's about as glowing of a review as you're going to get. Now let's talk about these tortillas. Handmade. Corn. Tortillas. Are you kidding me? They're the kind of tortillas that had me question every tortilla I've ever eaten. Soft, fresh, and somehow they manage to steal the spotlight even with everything else on the plate being so good. The chips and guacamole were excellent, too. The chips have to be made in-house and they disappeared at an alarming rate. The salsa that came with them had this smoky, fire-roasted, chipotle flavor that kept me reaching for another chip... and then another... and then suddenly I realized I'd eaten way more chips than I intended. The bottled table salsas deserve their own paragraph because they completely confused me... in the best way. They bring three to the table... a green, a red, and a darker red.
