It's a simple and amazing place with homemade food. They serve great breakfast burritos and their coffee is excellent. The staff were all very nice. We really enjoyed our time here and the food. On our honeymoon in Tenerife we booked a table for Rincón de Juan Carlos and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is tucked away in a plaza and when you enter, the carefully crafted experience begins with gorgeous lighting and service with a family feel. Now for what we came for, the food. We chose the tasting menu with a selection of 6 glasses of wine. The menu opened with a brioche with caviar packaged as a gift. Who doesn't love a present to start a meal? Our favorite dishes were the raviolis and corn taco. The dessert was the encore, a full tree structure with various fruits, spun sugar, and the presentation of a lifetime. We were so impressed with how every glass of wine paired across the selected dishes. Simply a fantastic gastronomical experience. Final note: this is a Michelin starred restaurant and the prices are on par with that. We were shocked to watch an older couple with a reservation sit down, look over the menu, and choose to leave because "nothing really looked good" and it was "a bit expensive." So, my husband ordered the chicken sandwich. When the food arrived both sandwiches were made with a delicious French type bread. What my husband thought was going to be a chicken steak sandwich was a chicken salad sandwich. We also ordered a side of fries and ham croquettes. I ordered a barraquito. It was exactly what I was expecting. It was delicious! They have both indoors and outdoor seating areas. The owners were also the servers. The locals seemed to enjoy having a drink or coffee here.
