It's a nice park with a beautiful view! There's a reason why they call it "Window to the Ocean."
It's located between La Concha Resort and the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel on Ashford Avenue. There's a public beach for sunbathers. However, there are signs everywhere warning people not to swim there due to dangerous rip currents. I was actually quite shocked to see people swimming in that area.
I was looking forward to walking along the boardwalk that's over the rocky shore. It starts at the viewing rotunda and ends right before the public beach. Unfortunately, it was closed for repairs. Also, the fountain in the square wasn't on when we were there. It was still nice to see the Ángel Botello sculptures as well as witness a Mariachi band performing for what looked like a family celebration on the beach.
I'd say it's definitely a nice stop when staying at a hotel on Condado Beach. There's always something to entertain you as you're walking up and down Ashford Ave. We always find something new to enjoy. read more
