We were a group of 26 (you heard me) and we had no troubles finding our seat or grabbing something in the lobby bar before the show. It was so cool to be sitting watching rising stars doing their thing! Not to mention knowing all the iconic comedians who have been part of this very comedy fest in the past. Also it was nice to be sitting inside since some of the comedy shows were on the main stage outdoors.

Jardin Bontanique de Montreal is pretty big and has a lot of different exhibits that you can go and see. I loved seeing the different flowers as well the waterfall. I honestly thought that I would get to see something that would make me say "WOW," but I didn't get that. I'm not sure if I would revisit it; however it's nice for what it is.

There are plenty of places to sit for a while as you go though the various Gardens and see examples of the flora in different parts of the world. The Chinese garden is harmonious and appealing to the eye, venue. You could be in China. Depending on where you stand or sit the view changes completely. The waterfalls and buildings seem to change depending where you look. The bonsai, some more than 50 years old, are examples of excellent techniques in pruning and shaping so that the trees look like they might be in the woods affected by the weather and shaped that way.

I'm all about being in nature when possible so that was the natural choice of mine (no pun intended!), if I can't be outside, why not experience it inside? When in Montreal a few weeks ago, I had some time to kill my dinner reservation and just happened up on OASIS Immersion (when exploring Montreal's Underground City, I ended up in Palais des Congres, where OASIS is housed). I decided it seemed like a fun way to spend an hour or so before heading to my dinner. I'm glad I stopped by - the show I caught was definitely the best immersive art exhibit I've seen so far. I think they may offer different experiences on different days, but the show I caught was Nature Vive/Root for Nature. The Root for Nature immersive experience brings together several organizations committed to conservation and sustainable development, including the United Nations, the David Suzuki Foundation, the Workshops for biodiversity , the Age of Union Environmental Alliance, the Palais des congrès de Montréal, Tourisme Montréal, WSP and National Geographic. The Experience is produced and traveled by OASIS Immersive Studios in collaboration with National Geographic. The experience had some truly gorgeous nature and landscape photography (I especially loved the first and third galleries), and I found it inspiring and entertaining and well worth the cost of admission. Definitely a great activity for a bad weather day or if you have some time to kill when other things have/are closed!

Security was done right and only complaint was it was general admission. Although general admin we got there early so we only had one row of people in front of us. Pretty proud these legs of mine can still stand for 5 hours. These old style theaters are so ornate in decor and colour. You can only imagine how many live shows they have hosted and people who have come through the doors in the almost 100 years. It's also great seeing live music in a venue such as this as it's intimate with also being able to provide enough people to give you that boisterous live concert feel. The serve alcohol so you can enjoy a nice bevy or a few during the show. Only complaint is there appeared to be only one entrance and exit through the front door. So after the show there was a massive jam for the coat check and it was like a bad traffic jam on the freeway. Move to the left to avoid this if you don't need to check your coat.

after the show I (a minor) got in line for merch with my friend who is 18 and was acting as my…read moreguardian. security told us we had to leave and we couldn't wait there, I was expecting we would be able to go back in once people are out, so I listened and was made to leave but my friend ended up being able to stay cause she said we were waiting for merch which I assumed he knew. so i was alone outside because security forced me out, and when I said my friend was in there he kept denying me from entering and locked the door. he didn't even say we wouldn't be able to re enter at all, he said we had to wait outside. thankfully my friend was able to get me merch but this really made my experience a lot worse here. I was outside by myself in a city I am not from and I was not allowed to find my friend who was my only companion. Im upset with how that was handled especially since I am clearly under 18.
