Let's test the China Restaurant in town. It has a special offer: Chinese Buffets for 148 DKK during…read morethe week, a little more expensive on the weekends.
I seems that the Danish like eating early. We arrived at 7 p.m. and the restaurant was quite full. An hour later it was quite empty. Anyhow, the menu is the usual of a Chinese Restaurant. They did not have any vegetarian dishes, but we were told that they would make a vegetarian dish based on what we would like to have. And so my friend selected a dish in the vegetarian version (which was good) and I took the buffet.
The buffet had 2 soups, sushi (!), a salad bar, many dishes. Some dishes were typically Chinese, but with fried shrimp, fried squids and ribs and French fries you could almost make an American menu out of it. The desert was not very Chinese, several cakes and fruit - enjoyable. And coffee/tea are also part of the buffet.
The food was not particularly exciting or special, but a large variety, quality was good and service was very flexible and friendly. A place that I would defiantly recommend when you are hungry after a vacation day.
