The decor and amenities were all newly renovated in the historic building. Although there was an elevator the narrow but quirkily decorated stairs were fun and much faster! The rooms were small but recently renovated with modern functional decor. Our 2nd floor room opened to the street but the modern windows blocked any noise. The breakfast room was adorable and bright with all the light breakfast amenities such as baked goods, yogurt and cereal, fruit, meats, cheese, juices, coffee and all the accompaniments well organized with tasteful decor. The staff was always eager to help. The only quirk was that the hotel required the room key to be left at the front desk (manned 24/7) each time a guest left the premises. Hands down, highly recommended!
