Oh what a night! The venue is lovely, tastefully decorated, soft music and dim lights. Hang on there...no lights!
After the wok colleagues arrived (22 of us) and we had opened the wine...the lights went out and the power was off. The whole street had a blackout.
So we waited! Ummm. Our pizzas couldn't get cooked...although something was happening in the kitchen as the flames were being thrown around, the fire alarms started going off and the waitresses were being very apologetic.
Our pasta disses came out....I don't know what happened to the garlic bread, it never arrived. The dishes were a little light on, especially if you have big men to feed. So the wine flowed and by this stage who gave a hoot.
Lights came on! Pizzas came out 10 minutes later...not much of a choice.
The alternate desserts were lovely. The coffee was great! read more
