I'm a very passive person but I had to say something about this. "Don't believe negative reviews" yes you should because I went in for lab work and whoever the receptionist is was extremely dismissive until the end when she asked me to rate them positively online. I called in advance to make sure they received my lab orders because my appointment had been booked a year prior, and she was rude on the phone as well, and hung up after telling me the system was down. She should not be doing anyone's blood work either because she quite literally stabbed the needle into my arm and I've had IVs leak, and one nearly cause a blood clot so I'm no stranger to bad experiences, but this had to be the worst. My arm throbbed for HOURS afterwards, and left a part of my arm swollen where the blood was drawn. I've had many labs done that weren't pleasant but this felt malicious with just how painful she made the experience. I'm glad my labs were done, but I will never come back. Not to mention the building smells like actual human feces when you walk in. read more

I am VERY bladder shy and I was worried about coming to do a Pre-employment test here. There were only two women working and I wish I remembered their names but they were both so kind. It took me over an hour and a half to take the test but not because of them. I have something that makes me bladder shy which means I can't go when others are around. They made sure I didn't bring anything in and they gave me the grace to pee while singing with my ears plugged in order to go. Also, if you are "pee shy" do math in your head. It helped me a ton! My rights were violated !!!! I am a Black woman who wears a head covering in public. A white female lab technician told me I had to remove the headscarf or I would not be allowed to take my drug test for work. I was also wearing a pullover sweatshirt because it's cold weather outside, but she didn't make me remove the sweatshirt, only the head covering !!!! ???? If the concerns are for tampering during drug testing, why make me take my headscarf off but not bulky sweatshirt ???? People use every opportunity they can to humiliate and violate others. read more

I was able to make my appointment online three days prior. It was a bit nerve-wracking​ finding the place through the maps app on my phone. WellStar is all over the place and I kept turning around looking for LabCorp. Finally, it was located in Pruitt Commons (green markee) with the address 1676. The office sits to the right with the sign LabCorp in suite 100. I was pleasantly thrilled that my visit was A plus after reading the reviews. The receptionist was very detailed explaining the procedure about the bill with an excellent disposition. I filled out the brief paperwork and gave her my insurance card and driver's license. After a few minutes of sitting down, the nurse called me to the back. She was also professional. My appointment time was 8:45 a.m. and I left the building​ around 9 a.m. It was definitely a pleasant experience for me. read more

I'm shocked at the low ratings for this location. IlFor the last several years I've gone to this location for labwork every 3-4 months. I always make an appointment online and with the exception of once or twice, have always been seen quickly. The staff members have always been professional and pleasant towards me. read more

My wife went here to have her blood screened, she is donating bone marrow for a sick individual in need. She asked if they could take her blood pressure prior to drawing the blood, as she was feeling a little shaky and wanted to be safe. They told her they are not a medical facility and to wait out front and were extremely rude to her. DISGUSTING. How do you treat someone who is trying to save a life this way? What is wrong with people and how do they allow such disregard for human compassion? We went here because it was the closest location for Be The Match screening. We will be informing them to take this place off of their list. The other reviews speak volumes. Avoid this place. It has nothing but uncaring, unprofessional, individuals. My insurance would not pay for me to get blood work done at my doctor's ofc. and sent me to Lab Corp on Mulkey Road. First of all, the address is not correct....It is 1678 not 1680....I had a heck of a time finding them. They now have a central number to make reservations by phone or online. phone number is 855 277 8669 I spoke to a patient in the reception area. She said this online appointment is so much better. There used to be a ton of people in the reception area and it took forever. Not anymore....I was in and out in 30 min. The receptionist was so friendly, the technician was awesome (Beatrice was her name). I had a total different experience than the people who wrote the other reviews. read more

I wish I could give no stars! I scheduled an appointment for 2PM for a pre employment drug screen. Simple. I arrived at 1:40 and signed in at the kiosk, took a seat and waited. I'd had my fill of water and was ready when I walked in. By 2:15 nothing, my bladder gave in, couldn't wait. Started to drink more water anticipating getting the call in a few more minutes. 3:00! No call, bladder gave in again! More water! Mind you all this time, it's not even crowded! I have no idea what's going on, guy at the desk says it won't be long, to late way past to long! Finally get called in at 3:35! I wanted to tell my story and then say how I felt about the situation. People will say this is COVID and we have to understand that we may have to wait longer than normal. This problem has more to do with poor management than anything else, we seem to use COVID as some sort of an overall reason for not being better at something a simple as customer service. We say "I can do less because of circumstances I have no control of". You can always control how you deal with your customers, simply giving updates and explanations are always acceptable. The customer service was not bad, it was no were to be found. I have no idea where the manager was and the front desk person seemed to busy to help, as he actually told another customer. I will recommend to my employer not to use this lab in the future for simple drug screens. I wish I had a Twitter account just so I could let others know about this location of Labcorp. read more

You be the judge. Maybe could give a score of 4. Scheduled appointment online. Arrived on time to find the door locked with zero signage regarding what to do when you arrive. Sat outside as customers departed and made sure they closed the door before you could enter. Finally a person coming out advised me I had to check in online. I did and message said wait in car or nearby or outside door and they would text you when they were ready to see you. A costumer coming out advised she eventually bang on the door and everyone just ignored her. After continued knocking staff person came and let her in. I I slipped in behind an exiting person. I checked in again on kiosk inside. I was seen within 20 or 30 mins after arriving and getting inside. It was just figuring out what to do when you arrive. Staff professional but very very busy an no time for small talk. I would go back. Thank you front line workers. I truly appreciate you and what you are doing to take care of us. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was sent to LabCorp because my specialist does not do blood work in office. Although it is not listed anywhere apparently they are by appointment only. The receptionist told me to use the tablet to schedule an appointment for another time. The computer fit me in for the same day but as she checked me in I said I'll have to update my doctor because by appointment only isn't communicated anywhere. She checked me in and as I walked away she and the other tech started taking about how they compose themselves to not cuss people out and have patience with people with attitudes. The staff is completely unprofessional and ready for a fight. In turn, she was more professional with white older men but rude to everyone else. I was a little scared to go because of all the bad reviews, but it wasn't that bad. I waited 30 mins, and I did make an appointment online before going in. I would suggest making an appointment on their website, since I think I got in before the other 10+ walk-ins that were there before me. I didn't find anyone to be rude, but you might want to plan to just be nice & patient, probably not a fun job & the people working there might not want to deal with people who come unprepared or people in a rush when they have a lot to do. Bring a book, phone, ipad, and prepare to wait a little since it's a busy place & I thought it was really cold in there, so bring a sweatshirt! read more

This is the worst business I have ever encountered. The staff was rude, disrespectful and way more concerned about their lunch break than the room full of patients needing lab work. The poor communication between the staff and the patients was inexcusable. Everyone in the waiting room had made an appointment only to be told that they were too busy to be seen and to try to make another appointment for later on. Obviously, the appointment system is broken. Whomever owns this business needs to clean house and find people who want to work and are willing to do their job with compassion and respect. Every single person in the waiting room was upset at the way they were treated. I will be letting my physician (who recommended this lab) know as well as everyone else I come in contact with to not use this lab. I will not continue to support a business that does not value its commitments or is unpleasant to deal with. Lastly (but certainly not less important), the lab did not appear to be clean. This location is not good if you are pregnant or petite. The staff do not know how to deal with small people, small veins or thin, skinny girls. If you are petite, just avoid the hassle. I made an appointment at 8:30am for my glucose tolerance test while pregnant but I still had to wait ONE HOUR! for them to finally give me the glucose drink. After that then I had to wait another hour for the blood work to be done. At 10:30am (remember: fasting and pregnant), when I got to the nurse I told her: "you might need to use a butterfly needle because when they don't I always bruise since my veins are small". She responded: "we will look at your veins and then decide that" in a very rude tone. When she looked at my veins she said my veins were huge and there was no need for a butterfly needle. I assumed it was okay and let her take the blood sample as they regularly do. After two hours I had a 2 inches bruise that hurt!!! This was completely preventable by just listening to the patient but instead they decided to do whatever they wanted! Go to the location in Marietta, is way better than this one. read more
