Disingenuous company! I had some bloodwork done to learn the gender of my baby. Prior to doing the bloodwork, I called Labcorp to ask the price. They told me the estimated price was $10. Then I got the bill for $248.50. I called them to explain this is much higher than I was quoted and they said there is nothing they can do and that I need to pay or they will send my bill to a collection agency. I am paying the $248.50 to avoid going to collections. I would not have had the bloodwork done had I known it was going to cost $248.50. read more

Horrible experience. Waited 50 mins while the front desk tried to figure out how to read an order. Ended up leaving because the individual behind the front desk was incompetent and did not understand how to do his job. Never got my blood drawn. Don't waste your time. Find another lab. Worst lab and personnel ever!!! Had to take my infant because I don't have childcare and the front desk lady wouldn't let me bring her back for my testing, and also said she was going to call the cops on me if I left her outside the bathroom door in her car seat while I provided the sample. Even had someone offer to come back with me to watch her in the hallway and she said no. CALL THE COPS!!! On a mom who just needs to provide a sample to get a job. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Came in at 7:05. Customers were already waiting and some came and left. Phlebotomist didn't show up until 7:30. This is a terrible location with employees who treat you crappy. I was going to avoid this facility after reading the Yelp reviews, however, the location is literally 1 mile from me and the convenience superseded my post review fears. I made an appointment on the lab corp website as I have done for other facilities. I should point out that this is very important, make an appointment on their website, don't do a first thing in the morning walk-in; I gather from the reviews that that is the majority of the complainers, walk-ins. The facility had plenty of signs giving directions to the suite. When I arrived there were only 3 other patients in the waiting room; this was just before noon on a Friday. After completing the self check-in there was only 1 person left waiting. I was greeted professionally, treated professionally; I could find no fault with the staff. The lab collection went without incident and I was in & out in under 10 minutes. The facility was clean and well kept. It was the exact opposite of all the complaints I have read here. I will definitely return here for lab draws in the future. It deserves all 5 of the stars I have given; no cap, as the youth of today say. read more

Be prepared to be treated very rudely by the technicians employed at this facility. The manager of this facility should terminate the young man in the back taking samples. He is giving all Lab Corp facilities a bad name. I've had many blood and urine test at Lab Corp facilities throughout the years and never been treated this way. There was a change in office 6-8 months ago. Downhill since. Big young lady refuses to check anyone in unless they use kiosk. For older people it's hard to get up & down over & over. Check in-sit down- stand up to give blood order-sit down- stand up & go to test. I observed going to blood draw same mean woman & another reading on internet. Oh & the person who draws just asks what arm? Never smiles. I asked her did she enjoy job. Answer NO it's a paycheck I'm here to get it done. On way out same 2 women still reading internet. Whoever bought this franchise ran off the previous 3 techs who had been here for many years. I have never been treated so poorly in a medical situation. After the tech had the wrong tube for my labs. I tried to correct her. I've had this lab drawn dozens of times for my neurosurgeon out of state. I needed it done correctly as I didn't have time to come back before traveling. She told me "I know how to do my fucking job" "you're fucking welcome" and "have a nice fucking day" screaming in my face. Ripping the needle out of my arm. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I finally got in contact with management. She had the same attitude. Refused to give me any information for anyone above her. Or the name of the employee etc. and told me if I didn't like to just not return to her facility. Lab techs also work the front desk. Bountiful lab tech entered my name wrong (and thus called me by wrong name) and then didn't correct it in the system when I corrected her. After leaving the front desk (using the keyboard and mouse) she started getting ready for blood draw without washing her hands. When I asked her to wash her hands, she threw - THREW - down the items she had in her hands and stomped out of the room (despite there being a sink and soap in the room we were in). I still don't know if she actually washed her hands. The blood draw itself was fine. It has been over a month and Labcorp has refused to provide me with my results. The reasons given have been that my lab order had name incorrect (I have a copy; my name was correct), then that my legal ID didn't match (it did). They had NO problem billing my insurance under my correct name, but refuse to make my results available online or mail them to me at the address on file. Avoid this facility at all costs. read more

I would give this a 0 star if I could. I have good experiences here before but this time it was awful. I brought some stool samples in to be tested last Monday. I checked back online numerous times to see if the results were back and they weren't. Today I was scheduled for a colonoscopy. I was all prepped and in the endoscopy lab waiting for the procedure, when the dr said he was nervous about doing a colonoscopy if I had an infection. The head nurse called labcorp. She was told they never received the sample. My husband walked over to the lab showing them the review I was asked to fill out after dropping off my samples. The girl with the double earrings in her nose had taken my samples and said it would be 48, maybe 72 hours for the samples to be returned. It was now 4 days after dropping the samples off. She told my husband she could not know if she had received my samples even though I personally handed them to her and she checked every single vial to make sure they filled out correctly. I called the general call center. They found my samples and said they were delayed but not to worry they would hold the samples til they could do them, most likely 3 weeks out. My dr was appalled. He said an individual could die from the infection he thought I might have-yet labcorp said they would get the results back in 3 more weeks? Meanwhile, my colonoscopy was cancelled as the dr didn't want to do it until the lab results were back. Totally unacceptable. Will never go back to Labcorp again!!! read more

Been here twice now and they've been wonderful. Check in process was smooth. One time it wasn't busy, the other was very busy, both times the staff were efficient and professional. Didn't take long at all. I love that I can just get my labs online in about a week. Will be back! read more

I just recently had a urine test @ the Lab corps location in bountiful, UT, and their restroom for testing was absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Their toilet had all sorts of human hair and piss stains in and around the bowl. It makes me furious, that other human bodily fluids and hair were visible at a "testing" toilet. Absolutely unacceptable. The receptionist was a complete unprofessional mess, who was extremely rude when I had a question regarding my apt. Didn't hear me out and told me to take a seat immediately. I don't know who's running this "clinic" or who is in charge, but someone needs to get on these kids about professionalism and customer service. We have been using Lab Corp for many many years and we're sad to find out that the location in Downtown Salt Lake had been closed. Why is this? It was very busy, but the staff downtown, especially a very professional woman named Cassandra always treated me and my whole family with dignity and respect. I brought my neighbor to this Lab Corp location in Bountiful because they do not speak English fully but I do. Please let me say, the Bountiful location is not the downtown location at all. I was told to speak "clearer English or leave" by a very rude woman. I asked for a manager. Next came out another woman, a heavy woman with glasses who I found out was named Karen. She identified herself as "The Site Manager." She was way more rude and racist than the first woman, I could feel her hate for the LatinX people. In 2021 I find this unacceptable. I remember the Downtown location, the one by Salt Lake Regional Hospital on 1st South being a great place that welcomed EVERYBODY. PLEASE RE-OPEN the Downtown Salt Lake Location so we LatinX people and other people of color can have a Lab Corp where we can feel comfortable and free of hate like we experience in Bountiful. read more
