Side note: I'm sure if more customers were as eager to write a review for a heath provider as they are to review a restaurant this location would easily be a high 4 star rating. Moving along, I came to get my back and knees looked at as Dr. Tran came with a referral from a guy I play Basketball with. Dr. Tran seriously blew me away. He's highly knowledgeable on a variety of treatment methodologies which was on full display as he asked probing questions about my injury history. He was spot on with regards to how I feel in the morning and at what times my aging body gives me problems. This was truly an awesome session as I thought I was just going to have to deal with these injuries for the rest of my life. He actually showed me some stretches and what to avoid. No one is a miracle maker but I have to say weeks from his adjustments and advice I'm still feeling better. If you have any discomfort I would advise you to get treatment and if you're nearby this location I would recommend this office highly!!! The staff were all very thorough in communication regarding my treatment and plan thereafter! I'll be sure to come back for another adjustment when I'm in town!

Because the cough still persists, I visited MD-Stat and was given not only a more powerful cough syrup to suppress the cough, but a shot to dull the severe pain and thus far, it seems to be working. The cough is still painful, but it is a LOT less painful than it was before the shot. The team at MD-Stat is always fantastic, so I couldn't be more pleased!!

To be…read morehonest, I really wasn't looking forward to this visit because last year, it was such a huge confusing process, especially since it was new patient visit. Check in process has improved but not sure if it's because we are returning patient visit. You go to the front desk, check in at a computer and take a pager with you. Then they page you to a desk and do all the paper work there. After that, you sit down and wait to be called in to exam. They check vitals and then you proceed to exam room. Then you go from exam to xrays, then back to exam room for consult. We did not have to wait long after checking in or waiting in exam room to be seen, or wait long for X-rays, everything was pretty quick today so I was very happy about that. Shriners I believe requires a referral to be seen. Parents need to be on top of scheduling Shriners appointments and not procrastinate with scheduling these visits, you schedule these appointments well out in advance. It is important for families to ensure they come here on time because there are families who travel a lot further away to be seen. Depending the date of the visit, if there's a holiday, like Valentines, Shriners had a ton of toys and goodie bags to give to children from generous donors. I wasn't expecting this since we are outpatient visit. My kids were very happy with the goodies they got. Last time we were there, there were tons of free snacks at the lobby. It is a very kid friendly environment and the staff truly seem to enjoy working with children. They expect good commitment from volunteers too. I remember visiting Shriners years ago as a kid with my parents to make a visit to another family whose daughter flew in from Argentina to get orthopedic surgery at Shriners SLC. This family didn't really know anyone in Utah so through some networking, my parents (also from Arg) found out and we went to go visit them. We discovered they didn't have to pay for her surgery and stay. Children are taken care of here. Definitely consider making a donation to Shriners.
