Last time I had labs drawn, I went to the Woodmen location next to St Francis. I had an appt and waited an hour and a half. They weren't honoring appts at all and were so backed up and it seems it's like that each time I have been-probably because it's next to the hospital and there are several Dr's offices around. This location is smaller but the staff are terrific and they do honor appts. Had me in and out-even with non-appt people there within 5 min. The only thing I don't care for is they take a credit card if you have private insurance before running it through your insurance. I understand that people don't pay their bills but I don't like having my credit card information on file, but other than that, a good experience. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]pretty good for routine lab work, especially for not having an appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've done 2 walk in's here and have been seen relatively soon for both lab draws. The only thing I have to say is that for both of these times i think they used an 18 guage needle (very big needle). I'm truly only writing this in hopes that someone can get them butterfly needles for future blood draws. I'm not sure if they have them and I truly don't mind needles but man, an 18 both times was brutal?!?!?? read more

As a former Quest employee I'm amazed at how good Lab Corp performed today. My appointment was at 11. I got there an hour early and was able to change it to 10:15. I was called in before 10:20. This was a world of difference from the service I got at Quest. The phlebotomist at the desk solved the riddle on why my lab request wasn't "received". Last name discrepancy. So my fax was there all along at the other Woodmen location. 5 stars In spite of the fact that the little intake computers were down, they were very professional and kind. This location had only one phlebotomist and one person on duty for reception with a HUGE number of people waiting in the ridiculously SMALL waiting room. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff cordial and courteous, but obviously overwhelmed by number of patients on Monday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had to wait almost an hour by the time I checked in and was finally drawn. Thank you for the quick check in (even with my new insurance)! I've had the best service at this location which is conveniently located near UCHealth Briargate. If you could tell my phlebotomist that she did a GREAT job. I barely felt the needle (partially because we were chatting and she helped to keep my mind off of it), there was only a dot of blood on the gauze, and there is no bruising today. BEWARE!! Labcorp intentionally submits claims using the wrong coding or incorrect coding in order to try and get the patient to pay the bill for their services. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Working in conjunction with my doctor's office, we asked Labcorp three separate times to resubmit my claim with the correct coding to my insurance company.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Finally on the third try, it was resubmitted with the correct codes that my doctor's office had given them to begin with, and the claim was paid by my insurance. Evidently, according to my insurance company, they see this a lot with Labcorp. If you receive a statement from Labcorp saying that you need to pay for your blood work, please check with your doctor's office to see if that is the case. Otherwise, work hard with your doctor's office and insurance to have the claim resubmitted with the correct coding so you do not have to pay out of pocket for something that should have been paid by your insurance. read more

Go ANYWHERE but here. Check in, and have a seat. Wait for 40 minutes. Watch as dozens of people get processed in and out, with zero mention of your position in line. They don't mention that all others will apparently get priority over you, so you'll sit for 50 minutes, watching people process in and out. Eventually, they'll take you back....then leave you while they continue to process EVERYONE ELSE in and out. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]My appointment was for 1:15 pm. I arrived and there was no one at the desk so I tried to check in by scanning the online QR code into the kiosk in the waiting area; but my phone did not have any service at this basement location, so I went outside and did an internet check-in[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Now it was 5 minutes past my appointment time when I went back inside. Still no one at the desk and 7 people in the waiting room. A voice from back in the patient room area was calling names, but not mine. A half hour later, a person finally comes to the desk and I told her I checked in online and asked why she isn't calling the names of people with appointments. She said she was the only person there and didn't have a chance to check the computer, but she would take me next so I did my urine sample and waited in a patient room for 10 more minutes while she tended to other people at the desk. Now there are 9 people in the waiting area. She came to the room at 2:00 pm which was 45 minutes past my appointment time. I asked her to sanitize the chair as it was obviously not cleaned. The chair had a rubber arm band and stains on it. She sarcastically sprayed a half pump of sanitizer from a bottle onto a paper towel and wiped the chair down, but didn't actually sanitize anything as the towel was not wet enough to moisten the surfaces. She sticks my left arm for the blood draw, misses the vein, partially pulls the needle back and redirects it two more times before removing it. It felt as if she was taking her frustrations out on me because I asked her to pay attention to the appointments and sanitize the chair. She then stuck my right arm correctly to do the blood draw. She left the room and immediately sent the next person in before I could collect my jacket. I told that person that the chair was not sanitized after it was used by me. Overall, I would not return to this location because of the unsanitary practices of the phlebotomist and the fact that they don't take people with appointments first. read more

Simple, fast, efficient and competent. Earlier opening hours than some of the other centers, and the kiosk makes it easy to confirm data and checkin. They are even open just a slight bit before 7am, for us early risers. Even so, getting there at the door at 7am there were two people who'd already checked in and were in back getting their veins poked to give up some bodily fluid. Total time there less than 15 minutes. For early risers, this works very well. read more

I am ashamed in how the workers here treated elderly patients in the lobby today. Yelling and berating them over the check in kiosk. Also rudely demanding everyone go sit in their cars until their appointment time. There is simply no reason to treat customers like this. We pay for this service. Just speak to people respectfully. I have no problem waiting in my car. Just do not yell and scold everyone in the room. Very unprofessional. read more

First time getting blood drawn here. Super nervous. There was no wait time, I got to use the self-check-in kiosk and was taken back within a couple of minutes. The person doing the draw did it so seamlessly! I didn't feel it, it was quick and easy and painless. Seriously, never had such a good experience with getting blood taken! And both of the employees kept the conversations fun and thrilling. read more

I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my visit to Labcorp off Woodman in Colorado Springs. There where about 6 people inside when I arrived so I anticipated there to be a wait. The labs I had been to in other experiences had folks wait over 30mins and I know I have waited up to an hour in other labs myself prior to this visit. Not at this place though! Upon arrival I did the e-checkin with the machine, it prompted you to scan your ID card and then prepopulated all of my info. After that I was prompted to place my insurance card there and the machine took photos. It was as easy as that! I sat down to wait but was called up in under 5mins! I was shocked how fast the whole process was. The lady who drew my blood was fast, friendly, and gentle and I was out the door in under 15mins! My lab results for a full work up were available that night/next morning! Super impressed by this place and I will go there in the future and have already told everyone I know about my positive experience. Kudos to the crew there and many thanks! read more

I went here to get my blood drawn for the Anti-Bodies for COVID and the Phlebotomists that were sitting up front were EXTREMELY RUDE! A young boy came in while I was there and he had to get blood drawn and he was scared and one of the Phlebotomists asked him if he knew what was happening today and he said that he was getting blood drawn. The phlebotomist asked him if he was ok and he said no bc he was afraid of needles then she asked him if he was going to let her do her job or fight him. I sat there for about 10-15 mins while they waited on my purchase for the anti-body test and then I finally got called back to a room and my veins are very hard to stick so I told the Phlebotomist to do my hand and her response was "We don't have butterfly needles so we can't do the hand." And ripped off her gloves and stormed out of the room. Another Phlebotomist comes in and I tell her the same thing and she told me the same thing but she was able to do my hand with a straight needle instead of a butterfly needle. As I was walking out there were more people in the waiting room than there was when I got there and one of the Phlebotomists goes "Why are there so many people here?" I just left after I was done and went home. I had an AWFUL experience and all of the phlebotomists were RUDE. I will NEVER go back to this location again! If I could I would give this a 0 star review because that's how bad the service was. read more
