Labcorp needs to hire faster, efficient, detail oriented individuals to be able to handle a high volume of patients in this labcorp. I do understand that the community is mostly Spanish speaking, but some sort of orderly process needs to happen. Door to registration and then be seen needs to occur in a small window of time.

The company itself has been redoing older offices, and there is a stark difference between the high-tech, modern Quests and this glorified room-with-chairs. However, there IS one digital kiosk available and a TV providing entertainment, and it's pretty clean. (You're ultimately just getting bloodwork drawn, so it does not need to be an luxury experience.) This place also services a lot of volume, and while they take walk-ins, you will definitely wait for a few minutes if you don't have your appointment. Whenever I go here, I spend more time waiting (because I arrive early) then in the actual appointment. I've always been taken within 5 to 15 minutes of my appointment window (depending on the number of clients), and the lab techs have always been efficient and friendly. I have small veins, but they always know just the right spot to poke. Bottom line: while not fancy, they do get the job done, and there is parking!

They will then send you an immediate text where you fill out the paperwork. The entire process took less than 5 minutes to complete. You can then monitor your place in line via there website, which was quite convenient because you don't have to wait inside their office. There were about 10 patients ahead of us, but they move quite quickly. We checked in at 10:26 and were out by 10:52. Christine performed our tests. She was friendly and very professional. All you need is your drivers license. They accept insurance, but also take patients with no insurance. The test was free of charge. The results were ready less than 48 hours later. You have to create an account with Quest Diagnostics to access results.

English and Spanish are spoken at the office. When I walked in, it was pretty late at night, so it was not crowded. I was visited by the doctor quickly, and the operation began. They send the prescriptions right there, so make sure you have the address and name of your favorite pharmacy at hand. Will definitely return for any messes I find myself in. They are open until midnight.

LabQ makes it very convenient to login/register/input insurance info right on your smartphone to get a QR code that they use to scan you in. There's never been a charge and no tangible paperwork needed. If you do a rapid antigen test a confirmatory PCR is included. Rapid antigen test turnaround 20-45 mins. Our PCR results returned within or around 24 hours even during the holidays. Love that they email and/or text you when results are ready. This sure beats waiting 2 hrs at urgent care sites or waiting over a day or two for results from such. Have used this service as first come first served multiple times at two of its locations (Broadway bt W71st & W72nd and Columbus Circle) and it's been so convenient. The longest I've had to wait was 45 mins (got in line right when it opened) but that was 2 days before New Years Eve. Caution: later in the day during the busy season, rapid tests can run out and the wait can be much longer. Highly recommended!

The whole experience is head and shoulders above Quest, particularly because they have great technicians plus a vastly nicer waiting area that includes coffee, tea, water and snacks. This was particularly important for me as I was taking the 3 hour fasting/glucose test for pregnancy. They had a separate room with two reclining chairs, which allowed me to take a nap to take my mind off of not having water or food since the night before. After 12 hours of no food, no water and multiple blood drawings, I could eat a small snack and drink some coffee so I didn't pass out upon leaving the office. It made all the difference.

Supervisor Gaetana Venezia repeats "there is nothing we can do" to respect my appointment times, which they assign themselves to my visits. However, she's put a portrait of herself up above the security guard in the lobby. They don't warn about delays or backups. They make you fill out some internal made-up forms instead and list your own name by hand 10 times over - appears to be a norm for them. A big scope of nonsense artificial work they create for themselves is being passed onto their patients.

Then I switched doctors and had this other Dr. And when I asked him about why my feet are beyond swollen to the point I can't walk and had white spots on my legs he sarcastically answered "idk I'm not a skin Dr." ... left me feeling worried and scared about my symptoms didn't give me any advice any reassurance nothing he just sent me away. At 34/35 weeks pregnant they cancelled my appointment said the dr won't be in and then supposedly scheduled me for june2. 2 days before June 2 I get a call asking why I didn't come to my appointment and I said what do you mean? You guys cancelled and rescheduled for June 2nd and they said no I don't have appointments scheduled here for you and they were confused on who cancelled my appointment bc the doctor was in the office that day. Then they asked if I had the baby already lol? On top of that they forgot to schedule my last ultrasound. The day the doctor sent me away and gave the sarcastic "idk I'm not a skin doctor" answer was the day he was supposed to schedule my last ultrasound but he didn't seem to be interested in his job or my health or pregnancy. I called the supervisor his name is Cesar he apologized he said he was going to speak to them.. I asked can I switch to their wny location he said no it's not possible I said ok I'm done w u guys I'll try to find another clinic he said no where will take me that he doesn't recommend it, I said idc I'm done w you guys if u guys just asked me if I had the baby already and didn't see me for over a month in my last trimester why should I go see u guys now just to be treated wrong. The supervisor said I'm sorry let me at least schedule your last ultrasound and that was going to call me later in the day to let me know about the ultrasound.. he never did I gave him 3 days to call me and they never called back which I wasn't surprised. So I called his boss .. I called the head supervisor on north Hudson clinic and told them everything. Finally a WOMAN answered my call listened to me and told me "I don't know who told you that you couldn't switch to the wny location because you absolutely can" she switched me over to the wny location and now I have the best Dr. Ever. The union city clinic has made my entire pregnancy scary and horrible and stressful. I was even called social services on me by the Dr.marina and thank god the social worker was very kind and dismissed the case never had to to go in and see him. This is my first pregnancy and it was ruined by union city free clinic, made me cry so many times. I am due tomorrow June 20th I've spent my last 2 weeks at wny location with the most helpful amazing doctor.. doctor.Bennet. He is beyond kind and thoughtful and informative. Every test the other clinic failed to do he did it and explained what each test is instead of having me just do it, he asked me if I have any questions what I'm comfortable with what I'm not comfortable with, he answered my question about my swollen feet and did extra tests just to make sure it's not signs of preeclampsia. He made time for me on his busy schedule and he just makes me feel very safe. He is the only doctor from this entire pregnancy that has shown he is a doctor because he cares not just for the money. I am grateful god blessed me with this doctor at the end because I was so depressed and scared, and now I'm about to give birth with confidence and happiness due to this amazing Doctor. Men will never understand a woman's body, imagine a man entering this field that's very sacred for women without caring for their healthy and pregnancy only in it for the money???? Union city location should just close or fire those 2 doctors (the only doctors that work for that location) they clearly don't care about the women only the money. I recommend Dr.Bennet highly , he is the best doctor I've had in a while he really does care.
