Short version: Just say NO! to Labcorp! I've been waiting on hold for for 35 minutes to ask a simple question to verify they accept coverage from a particular medicare supplement provider. This was after a person named "Ruby" couldn't get her phone to work and disconnected the call. I called back and a "Mary" had other telephone failures at their end and she also disconnected the call. I gave up on Labcorp after listening ot 45 minutes of endless message loops. They failed miserably and the good news is that competitors exist. read more

Will do my best to NOT come here again! Front desk did not even look at me as she gave me instructions to check in. Thank heavens I didn't have to leave blood because the girl who took my UDS was so rude she couldn't make eye contact either and had a scowl the whole time. Took my daughter for a drug test there the lady never instructed her not to flush the toilet got mad because there is a sign in the bathroom that says flush the toilet was rude if you don't like your job get a new one ! she then won't on her drug test for flushed toilet after instructed not to if she doesn't know how to do her job then she need to be fired her name was Tiffany Murphy! read more

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had attempting to get labs drawn anywhere. Dutifully made my online appointment, waited in my car, got the text my tech was ready for me and walked into a full waiting room of people crowded into a small space with one staff at the window that disappeared after taking my paper work and talking to a couple other people who crammed into the space. Apparently no phlebotomist was there--who knows?--no communication was ever made about what was going on. After 30 minutes I left, booked with Quest and will never use LabCorp in Lubbock for any reason. Would strongly encourage anyone needing labs to look elsewhere. read more

All I've really seen from this place is bad reviews so I was definitely nervous to go in. However, I had an amazing experience!!! The staff was every nice, especially the phlebotomist who took my blood! She was very kind about my nerves with having my blood drawn even though I do have quite a few tattoos. She made me feel much better and the entire process barely even hurt! She was absolutely incredible!!! I arrived with a couple people in front of me and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I was amazed at how fast it was! I cannot recommend this place enough, it was one of the best experiences I've had at just about anywhere I've been!!! read more

the worst!!! I waited almost 2 hours to get my blood drawn. I have never ever left a bad review in my life!! but this is worthy of the time to let them know they could do better! there is one lady drawing blood who was very nice but she also worked the front desk. finally another young lady come in to draw blood and she took my blood. without saying one word to me. oh she did say "take a seat" and "hold that." very rude and unprofessional. come on ladies, if you are going to make people wait two hours the least you could do is be kind. read more

This place and the people that work at the front are rude and unprofessional. I've had to go six times in the last 18 months and every visit is the same. They ask in an annoyed manner what you need, as though you're interrupting their important day asking them to do their job. Every single time I have visited (and mind you, I've been sent here by three different doctors) they shrug and tell me they don't have the orders. Not, I'm sorry I'm not finding anything, could we call and see if they can resend? No, just standing there, arms crossed, looking they couldn't care less and just want you to leave. I finally asked if they just hate their jobs and pointed out I didn't ask them to work there. I was answered with an eye roll. Go to Quest, they will treat you much better. read more

The woman at the check-in window seemed annoyed that we were in the waiting room and could barely be bothered to look up from her desk. Since there is a check in quiosk that takes all the patient info, I wondered what was keeping her so preoccupied. The radio in the corner of the waiting room was turned up to 11 apparently to further distract check-in woman from the fact that others were in the building. The person who drew my blood appeared to be a high school student who only ever spoke to me to tell me to sign a piece of paper and to mutter "ok" when she was finished with the procedure. Since I am not new to lab work I was familiar with the process, I was able to translate "ok" to mean that I could leave, Labcorp would send the bill, and my doctor would contact me with the results. (Not sure why this says California) This is actually for Lubbock, Texas. I have actually never had a good experience at this place. I would consider this the Wal-Mart of specimen testing facilities. If at all possible, if you are ever in need of drug testing or any other testing for that matter, I would recommend any other facility or asking if you can use your PCP. I came here for a drug test for a new job and I brought my prescriptions with me so that I could be directed to the proper personnel to report my prescriptions to. I informed the person taking the specimens that I needed to disclose the information. I understand if he was not qualified to take this information but he certainly should have pointed me in the right direction. Needless to say, when I inquired about this, I was informed that I "needed to tell the HR department ASAP" in a tone as if I had done something wrong. Not only is this wrong but it also shows you how knowledgably the staff does their job. I am not under any obligation to report this information to my works HR department. This is also not the proper procedure for any employer for that matter. Not only this the person taking my specimen also does not have any authority over my employer. Furthermore, I am concerned for people who do not know this is not how things are done and may have been denied employment due to the lack of knowledge on behalf of the staff. I could easily see this becoming a lawsuit against both the facility and a prospective employer for any consumer of the facility. I would highly recommend anybody who has been denied employment because of the lack of accuracy from Lab Corp to follow up with a lawsuit. Luckily, I know how to handle this. I took my daughter to get a drug test for employment that she was very excited about. The first day when we went, the check in lady was rude and unfriendly. we had some issues with the paperwork her employer had sent her. The next day I called to ask some questions before we went back to make sure we had everything that we needed. I talked to a lady named Tammy or something with a T and she was very rude and unprofessional about answering my questions and seemed frustrated that i was asking questions and proceeded to yell at me saying she had patients in front of her and didnt have time for me and that she was going to hang up on me. I ended up going in person and she continued to not let me talk and or get my point across as to what I was asking. On my way out I told them that they should not work with patients if thats how they where going to treat us. To find out they contacted my daughters HR department and complained on my daughter since I sent in a bad review. Unfortunately, this made them move on from hiring her. So uncalled for and petty!!!! I will never send anybody here or be coming back, they need to be fired for treating people this way!!! read more

I had read some poor reviews of this place and their competitor did not fare well either. I was pleasantly surprised that their kiosk check in was fast and easy, their facility spotlessly clean and the two techs on duty were personable and friendly. I showed up at 4:15 after getting off work at 4. Went to the front desk as there was another person at the kiosk filling out their information. The lady at the front desk told me I would have to come back tomorrow because she would only have time for one person. So you're telling me you stop accepting people at 4:15 when the website says open until 5? I needed this test done in a certain amount of days.
