Why is this building even open when a business could make far more use of the space inside. I called up LabCorp and made an appointment for Wednesday 2-4-26 quite some time ago for the Prescott, location. I then made an appointment for my doctors 12 days later so that the results of the blood draw could be evaluated. Not only do I get an email but I also get a text saying that they're closed now for the whole month of February. Absolutely useless! read more

SEVERELY Understaffed. Took me 2 days of trying to have my LABS completed before my annual appointment next week. LABCORP Online appointments confirmed , 2 consecutive days to have lab work completed at GailGarner Prescott AZ. Ridiculously long lines and full waiting room of fasting frustrated folks. Why make an online appointment for 9 AM??? When you may be seen 2 hours later while FASTING. A very Unpleasant experience. My complaint is with MANAGEMENT NOT with the staff, doing their job the best they can under THESE conditions. HIRE more experienced staff . . 1 LAB TECH and 1 front desk personnel is NOT enough staff to call your business a LAB. read more

I scheduled a fasting appt with this location since other one was closed for several weeks. I left for appt and in route found out they were closed. They did not call, just sent an email at 1206 AM. CALL YOUR CLIENTS IF YOU CANCEL!!! Poor business practice. read more

A trainee did a blood test and stuck the needle in my arm past my vein. I told her it was too deep and to take it out half of the needles length then the blood started to flow. Don't let any trainee work on you. My arm is still sore a week later. read more

The quality of staff is just OK. The main issue is they aren't motivated to work quickly, and they never seem to have enough staff for the amount of patients. Minimum waiting time without appointment is an hour, with appointment is about an hour. They told me 1hour, it's been 4. They also told me I was after the next two patients, they've called 4 others in front of me. The lady trying to run the front desk has no care or clue. read more

My husband and I went in for routine labs, we thought we checked in at kiosk. Sat down waited 2 hours, finally front desk calls us up and ask for our lab orders which were called in by our doctor. Told we're checked in now, 30 minutes later called up again and told we cannot get our blood drawn because we owe $461.00. When we ask WHY do we owe that, was told "I don't know and I have no way to look it up on my computer", needless to say we walked out. This place is a joke!! My appointment was at 9:45. I checked in at 9:35. My doctor had emailed me my order so I printed it and brought it into the facility. Within a few minutes I was called to the desk to give them the order. As the girl at the front desk was entering my order she noticed that one of my tests needed to be done(unbeknownst to me) between 8:00 and 10:00. She finished the entry of information and took me straight back to draw my blood. It was a draw filling 5 or 6 vials, she was efficient, no pain or anything. I was out of the facility before 10:00. Later I stopped to drop off a specimen and it was 3:10, they close at 3:00, they unlocked the door and took my specimen. I don't think you could ask fo any better service read more

Not a good blood draw. The technician jabbed the needle in my arm, which felt a bit unusual then didn't seem to know what to do because no blood was filling the vial. I was then told to "lock my arm" so the needle could be repositioned. Fairly uncomfortable experience and have never had this happen before. Surprised it was this difficult as the comment was made that I have plenty of veins to choose from. read more

No one at the Prescott, AZ facility will answer the phone. Called almost every day for the past 2 months to try and get my blood results since I work during the hours they are open. Had to wait until my doctor could go over the labs with me so I could get a copy of my results. What is so difficult about answering the phone? read more

I made an appointment online the day before. The email they send you allows you to check in online while you wait in the parking lot. I tried but wouldn't open for some reason. Just kept trying to load. Worried I'd be late I just went in. No one at the desk. There was a clip board next to urine samples sitting on the counter. I wondered if that was the sign in sheet. As I stood trying to figure out the process I told the lady that walked in behind the counter I was here for my schedule apt. She said did you check in? I looked at her blankly because the clipboard with the sign in sheet was for drop offs. She pointed to a machine on a stand. After getting closer I could see it was a miniature version of the airport check in. Scan your ID. So I went through the process and took a seat. Later I noticed an elderly couple struggling to get through the check in procedure it took them about 10 minutes, very sad. 15 minutes later I was called back to go to room number three I went back sat down and here comes a receptionist to take my blood I guess she was doing double duty. I really feel sorry for the elderly that are not text savvy and now that people are wearing masks they don't feel like they have to be a polite That was my only interaction for the day and if that's the case I'd rather stay home read more

I didn't know that you could make an appointment. I've been here waiting for 3.5 hours now. I've never waited this long for anything in my life!! They take back about 3 to 4 people per hour. Due to covid they've blocked half the chairs so I have stood most of the time allowing the elderly to sit. The front desk ladies are rude and move like snails. They do offer to text you when you can be seen but I received a text 30 minutes ago but they still aren't ready for me. This is ridiculous!!! read more

I left a very descriptive and straightforward message on thier voice mail on Tuesday 4-7-20. I left my phone number on my message twice and they couldn't even bothered to call me back the next day. If this is the way that they treat their patients when you've left a voicemail who knows what they're like when you arrive in the building. II wouldn't recommend this outfit whatsoever! read more

Busy location working on a skeleton crew (at no fault of their own, so please be kind)! The staff was very pleasant but I highly recommend making an appointment (they're booked out for at least 2 weeks as of now) and even then you should plan on waiting an hour to be seen. 4 stars because the staff truly was amazing. read more

I have been using Labcorp for probably 12 years or more. Never have had a problem in Poway CA or Prescott AZ. I just went into the office without an appointment and went to the electronic Kiosk to login. You can go up to the counter if you don't like teh kiosk. They didn't have the orders from my doctor which was his fault not labcorp. They gave me a fax number for my doctor and 5 minutes later they had my orders. Another 5 minutes later and I started my blood test orders. All of the lab personnel are very efficient and personable. Many people were coming and going and I didn't seen anyone having a problem. It seems that many people like to use Yelp as a complaint department so more negative reviews are posted than positive. They deserve a high rating. read more

Rebecca did an excelent job of drawing my blood. I hate needles but this was a breeze. She is my go to Phlebotomist.

Checked in 20 minutes early for a scheduled appointment. 15 minutes after my scheduled time I was still waiting just to be called to the desk to turn in my lab requisition. The only person at the desk had checked in a total of 2 people in that time and only 2 had been called back to have their labs done. To top it off, the desk person left the desk unattended for at least 10 minutes. Finally a tech cane out and I approached them. They checked me in and took me back. Who knows how much longer it would have been if I hadn't said anything.​ read more

My husband's insurance was changed to Medicare Advantage UHC in January of 2022. My cardiologist ordered a cbc to check my iron because they wouldn't allow me to donate blood bc my iron level was too low. I took the order and went to Lab Corp in Cottonwood. They took the order, took my blood but when my doctor called to get the results to call me with, they said there was no order and no blood was taken! I watched the nurse take my blood and label it. WHERE THE HELL IS MY BLOOD THAT THEY TOOK?!?!?! I cannot donate blood until my doctor gets the results, which they say they don't have. This is the first time using Lab Corp.....never again!!! read more

If I could give a negitive star I would. They don't answer their phone at the local location nor do they answer the phone on any number I can find from them online. They are no help when at the facility and are rude and dismissive. How they even stay in business is a mystery. It would serve the community if they just closed and someone else came in to fill the gap in medical testing. read more

Had a terrible experience at labcorp today. I scheduled an appointment online at 8 AM, they directed me from the website to check in in the parking lot from my phone and they would send me a text when they were ready. I did check in but they didn't send me a text so I walked to the front door and waited. An employee comes to the door and asked with a not so friendly tone what my name was, He said I was already checked in, duh. come to find out there were three of us scheduled at 8 AM and only one phlebotomist (and another three people came in for their 815 appointment when we were still there). The phlebotomist did not wear a mask while drawing my blood, his face was 2 feet from mine at the most. I witnessed I seen your woman needing assistance with the automated check in the one other employee in the office not nice to her and mumbled when she talked to her the poor lady was not trying to bother her and even apologized for needing help. I know people may be shortstaffed but they shouldn't allow their online scheduling to overbook them! And for god sakes wear a mask. Most people going in for blood work at this time like myself do you have underlying health issues or they would avoid having to go to a lab at this time. I tried to make conversation while having my blood drawn to distract myself. Phlebotomist seemed annoyed with me when he did answer it was obvious he was not listening. I scheduled an appointment online successfully. At appointment time, the app said to sit in the waiting room where 10 others (with masks) were waiting. A half hour past appointment time, I went up to the desk and was ignored until a nurse showed up to call someone else. She said she'd called my name earlier but I couldn't hear her from the waiting area. My problems Mary physician's office claims they never received results. Checked in for a test at this facility and was prompted to wait in my vehicle due to Covid-19. Gave them my phone number to call when they were ready to see me and proceeded outside. Waited in my car for over an hour and a half without hearing anything. Next thing I know the employees were rolling in their sign and shut off the lights. Couldn't get out of my car quick enough to catch them and the door was then locked. One of the employees was very quick to be out the back door to smoke a cigarette but couldn't even manage an appointment. Nice. read more

Communicating with LabCorp has been a challenge. There was no phone number on my lab orders. So, I looked them up on Google Chrome and called the number listed. I got a series of prompts that ended with the suggestion to use their website to book an appointment. The website was for multiple labs in several states. The dropdown menu was generic and did not include the tests I need. The hours of operation are not posted on the results of my Google search, but I took a chance on hours of operation and I walked into the clinic to make an appointment. There I was told I needed to call the number on a slip of paper the woman behind the desk gave me. I called that number to find that it was an automated service and the avatar said they were experiencing difficulties and to try later. The hours are posted on the door of the lab, so I will take my chances with an early morning walk in without an appointment. The menu items on the automated phone number included lab results. If it is this difficult to make an appointment, I can only imagine what it will be like to get my results. read more
