I use to find work through labor ready. Now it's been over 25 years ago I was an employee for hire through them. I was usually sent to the Solo Cup factory in Urbana, Illinois. Go Illini. Anyway back then they offered daily pay, they even offered a earned income tax credit advancement. I did that afew times, and changed my dependants by 3 more, so when I got my daily pay, my net income would be more than my gross..I did that a few months out of the year for the extra cash, but then would drop my dependants back down to zero the rest of the year. Anyway I had no problem getting work through them. You come in everyday consistently, you will get noticed.
