Every morning we woke up we spent on the balcony just taking in the fresh air, we had deers at our balcony, and gorgeous blue jays. We made delicious home cooked meals in their well equipped kitchen. I really enjoyed the homey feel as the kitchen was open concept so you had a view of the fireplace and tv. The bedroom was cozy and the bed felt like you were sleeping on a cloud. Television does have a lot of options for those rainy days that you don't feel like exploring. Wifi was quick but it does cut out every once in a while. the bbqs are available until October 1st which was amazing we got to grill up some great meats. There's only one main pool with a hot tub the big slide shuts down in September as well as the other hot tubs. We had a really great time here thanks to Chantal who was the woman I made my reservation originally with. She was pleasant upon check in and super cool when we would pass by on our way to use the hot tub & pool.

The accommodation was bigger than I expected and the fully furnished condo (much bigger than a hotel room) was more than we couldn't have hoped. The balcony and barbecue were a cherry on top! Lodged into Mont-Plaisant, there are more than a dozen huge accommodations split into various sized condos. There are plenty of tennis courts and great pool/spa facilities on site. Beautiful hiking trails around the resort too! We had the Sunday brunch for $16 and it was pretty good. Lots of the things you'd expect, all buffet style. Eggs, beans, bacon, cereal, various toast, charcuteries, pastries, etc.... it was good, but I wouldn't say it was worth a full $16 per person. Everything about this place makes me want to come back!

So we decided we were gonna do the…read moreboat trip and you can either pick a canoe or kayak double or single we did the canoe and packed up for a day on the water with snacks and drinks and of course our towel because there was so many places to stop off and have lunch and swim. The water was low so the river was a little more intense in the sense that you could get stuck in between the rapids. We had so many spots to Jump out and enjoy and got a great tan. 5-7 hours and 23 Kms down a beautiful river or you can do the 3 hour class for 12 km. You go at your own pace as long as you make the bus bringing you back than you're fine just keep your eye on the time. Last bus is at 4 pm not that it's very long bus ride back (15 minutes) but walking it wouldn't be fun. Helpful tip canoe is for 2 you can put 3 but it's designed for two people. Kayak is easier and you can paddle board but you need good balance.

The luge only happens from noon-2pm, so plan accordingly. It was SO fun. You first select your helmet. Then you take the specific gondola up to the start of the track. You basically get a 2 second tutorial on how to brake, then off you go! The first minute, there are some stops and turns before they let you start on the real track. It's really cool because you're pretty high up so you get a view to your left. Then you wind through some forests on the side. I think I was surprised by how fast you can go, but also how well the plastic vehicles handle. Just be careful. I got a douchebag who veered past me just as we were about to enter a slow zone with road blocks. He almost collided with me. I stopped to let him through. In any case, the course takes about 5 minutes, but it's actually surprisingly satisfying because of the many turns. You pay $12 I think for the first run, but you can do it many times for a discounted price. Honestly, it's kind of scary, and I'm not sure I would let a 10 year old on this thing.
