Lacey is the best! I had the pleasure of getting to work with Lacey 3 times over the last year and not only is she amazing at what she does, but she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! As someone who likes a more natural look, I was looking for a makeup artist who would enhance natural looks rather than add on a ton of makeup. When I first spoke with Lacey on the phone, she asked the right questions to get a feel for our wedding and she really seemed to understand what I was looking for. My engagement photo shoot was VERY important to me....honestly I probably cared more about this photo shoot than I will about the photos on my actual wedding day. Lacey is truly an AMAZING makeup artist (and person) to work with!! My engagement shoot was planned on a hot air balloon. I made sure everything was coordinated perfectly for Sunday, 3/2/14, between the hot air balloon company, the photographers and my makeup appointment with Lacey. Of course one of the worst storms San Diego has seen all winter happened to come that weekend. Doing a photo shoot in a hot air balloon in the middle of a storm didn't sound to safe, so last minute I had to postpone the shoot. I can't even tell you how happy I am that we found Lacey! Can I give 10 stars please?! Lacey is AMAZING! I went to a makeup class she hosted last week, had an incredible time and walked away knowing so much more about makeup application and what products work best! She literally walked us through each step so we could learn how to do our makeup correctly with products we already have for everyday use. You can clearly see that not only does Lacey love what she does but she is truly an expert! She showed us how to use makeup to enhance our features and natural beauty and not cover up our faces. I've been doing my makeup for almost 20 years and didn't know half the things Lacey showed us that are so simple and make a huge difference! We drank some wine, had some light snacks and a wonderful time overall! Would highly recommend taking one of these...I would do it again in a heart beat and plan to! On another note I just want to mention that Lacey gave us little goodie bags with samples of her face cream and shower souffle. I cannot begin to describe how incredible both of these products are and especially want to emphasize the face cream. Before I do I just want to say use the shower souffle as described especially after you shave... your skin will feel softer and smoother than it ever has! Ok onto the face cream... I suffered from cystic acne in my early twenties and although I've gotten the majority of it under control, I'm 32 and still break out regularly and some of those are cystic pimples. I also now have the added luxury of dealing with fine lines and aging signs. It's been very difficult to find products that work for acne prone skin and are anti aging. I break out very easily and most anti aging products I've used are the worst for acne prone skin and don't give great results. Lacey 's skin is absolutely beautiful so when she was telling us about these products and how she creates them to be pure and actually healing for your skin, I was really excited to try them! When I saw how rich the face cream is I was a little nervous being that EVERYTHING makes me break out, but I trusted Lacey and I'm thrilled beyond words that I did! In less than a week I've noticed a transformation in my skin that I never thought I'd experience! I've tried a million expensive products and never had results this quickly or this drastic. My skin FEELS amazingly healthy, I have not had one new break out and the ones I had are healing quickly. My face looks more even in tone and best of all my fine lines are disappearing! ! In fact my boss asked me only 5 days after I'd been using this cream if I got BOTOX! I was seriously considering botox before this cream but now I don't have to. These are the results I'm experiencing in less than a week! I cannot wait to see how my skin continues to evolve the longer I use them. Lacey is seriously one of my all-time favorite people, and that's only after meeting her twice in person! She is friendly, energetic, and extremely sensitive to the clients wants/needs.
