When she took out my previous extensions, I was shocked--there was hardly any hair left. Lady B recommended a sew-in weave to help my natural hair grow back. Bridget what the lady that did a sew-in for me, her first complaint that my natural hair was to short. Then she complain about the hair I purchased to do the sew-in. However, there was no problem for her to tell she was charging $250.00. Once, the process was done it looked okay in the shop, but when I got home and took closer look it was terrible. She sew-in the hair that was for the back of the head in the front and vice-verse. I WILL NEVVER COME BACK AND I WILL NOT TELL ANYBODY TO GO THERE!!! read more

I highly discourage anyone from getting Brazilian Knots done here. Before visiting I had four fresh, full bundles of hair (I have been getting Brazilian Knots done routinely in NYC for half a year now and have never had to buy new hair). I have never ever experienced hair loss from my previous installments in NYC. I came to this salon after moving to Dallas. During my treatment I could see hair falling all over the floor and felt like my hair was being knotted improperly. I was right. That day, hair fell out in thick handfuls during my car ride home and after. In the shower, massive chunks fell out. I am incredibly upset because the damage can't be undone and I will have to pay a fortune for new sets of hair. Since the knots are not done properly, I will also have to pay another salon to remove them before my hair gets tangled at the root. I do not advise going to this salon. Pay the same amount and get beautiful, healthy, long-lasting Brazilian knots in NYC or elsewhere. read more

I love the variety of services offered (color, cut, braids, brazilian knots, extensions etc), I have had them all and am completely satisfied. The facility is modern, clean and stylish. The price is reasonable and spot on. Bridget is a true professional! No waiting or stacking of appointments and she stands behind her work, which is excellent. I love that she will take the time to evaluate your hair and a few ideas of what can be accomplished and give you recommendations. You will not be disappointed. Bridget is a life or hair saver!! Whichever one! :) She fixed some bad Tree Braids I got done and it now looks AWESOME. I'm going back to her for sure to get the whole thing done. She is also polite...usually busy so might sound rushed on the phone sometimes. She also cares about your hair & gives you tips on how to protect your hair especially with braids. All I can say is BRIDGET is a MIRACLE WORKER! I am impressed with her style, her demeanor, and her knowledge for her clients who suffer from alopecia. She cares for ALL hair types. She goes by appointments so she gives you her undivided attention and does not "squeeze" you in and have you playing musical chairs with other patrons. She is worth every penny she charges. I've been to Bridgett before for micrbraidsand they turned out good. So I decided to get tree braids from her and I sent her a couple pics of the style I wanted. I made an appointed to get tree braids done on saturday april 30th..The braids turned out okay nothing glamourous. So I paid, thanked her and left. The next day I noticed the top of my hair loosening up. I texted her that the top of my hair was loose. She told me to come in the shop and she corrected the loose braids. (On monday) She also told me don't comb my hair because that can make them loose. I told her I did not comb my hair they are loosening up by themselves. (Obviously they are not done correctly)..Few days have pasted and my hair looks like its a month old..(its only been a week )-I texted her again on saturday may 7 to let her know my braids look a mess and the top of my head is all loose and braids are unraveling. She text me back and said she is with clents and will call me when she is done. I never heard from her..So here it is may 8th mothers day and my hair looks a damn mess! I can't even go to work or anywhere like this!. So I am at home take these ugly, loose, terrible tree briads out of my head. Thank goodness I can actually do my hair later today so I will not look a fool for work in the morning! Smh at Bridgett for these horrible tree braids! Wasted my time and money! I had an awful experience at this salon with the guy named Lennel. I highly recommend that you DO NOT go to him. He argues with his customers and does not listen to what you are asking him to do to your hair. I went there for a silk press and trim but he took it upon himself to give me a complete haircut without my knowledge or consent. He cut off at least 4 inches of my hair and I was highly upset. When I confronted him with the issue, he blew it off and acted as if he couldn't care less. I also had to wait almost an hour past my appointment before I was seen. He has absolutely no respect for his clients time. Look elsewhere! read more

I loved my hair and how Bridget did it! I got a full sew in without a closure and it was BEAUTIFUL for my upcoming trip! HOWEVER, when I was discussing the full price with her she told me it would cost $200 for the hair and install. When she finished my hair, I was charged $200 for the hair and $240 for the install. I have never been anywhere where the install cost more than the hair. I told her that is not what she told me and I showed her messages but she insist that she told me $420. I had to drive an hour home to go get more cash and she kept my driver's license forcing me to drive without one. When I was on my way back, I told her and she rudely told me I'm leaving, when she still had my driver's license. She met up with me to give it back to me so I can give her the cash, but I was highly disappointed that she did not give me the whole price when I asked for it: she does amazing work, but that was a bad experience. read more
