However, there was no trouble at all, the person set me up with an appointment. My selected hair stylist was Nicole. Since I'm not from town I had some trouble with navigation to the salon (my fault) and called Nicole to let her know and she was perfectly fine with me being late to my appointment. The salon is in a little business center and you have to knock to be let in. When the door opened I was greeted by Nicole and led to the salon chair. I had told her that I needed curls that will last all day because my event was at 6:30 pm that night and it was only 11:20 am. I showed a picture what I wanted and Nicole knew exactly what to do after analyzing the picture for 15 seconds. Nicole used premium products in my hair so it does justify the slight price increase she will have on her services (it's worth every penny). During the process I asked some questions about what to do in Savannah and she was very knowledgeable on the haunted houses in the area along with bars/restaurants. I am honestly a shy person, but Nicole made me feel relaxed and comfortable. When I asked if she can tease my hair bigger, she got a light in her eyes and had a "hell yeah" attitude about it. When the appointment wrapped up I asked to buy a Brazilian blowout product I was about to buy the wrong one, but she gave me a quick product education explaining key differences. the payment method I used was credit card and Nicole had a Square chip reader. My hair lasted all through the night and even the next day.

Only then was I told I was "wrong" and that the price quoted was only for a polish change, which was never explained at any point. The price was suddenly raised to $25. The issue is not the cost. I was fully prepared to pay. The issue was the attitude and the dishonesty. Instead of taking responsibility for the miscommunication, the staff repeatedly insisted that I had misunderstood, spoke to each other in another language while smirking and laughing, and made the situation uncomfortable and disrespectful. That behavior alone was enough for us to leave. Mocking or insulting customers in another language is immature and unacceptable. We wasted our time and left feeling disrespected. I will not support a business that changes prices after the fact and treats customers this way. To make matters worse, the salon had an overwhelming chemical odor that caused an immediate headache within the short time we were inside. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

I couldn't decide which color I wanted but my tech was very patient and accommodating. I enjoyed the leg scrub which I think lasted long for a reg pedicure. I've been to places where it's like BIM BAM BOOM next, so I enjoyed that. They don't give complimentary neck massages or drinks like some places but that's ok. My nail tech Elaine was super sweet and we shared conversation here and there.
