Not only is this one of the best libraries I have visited (referring to study space, staff friendliness) in the Orlando area, it is also extremely comfortable. There are tons of different, unique, and spacious chairs to use. There is a section on the 4th floor called "Tower Reading Area" this unique space is hidden and tucked away. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this location at this time due to its extremely limited availability. Being open only one day a week from 10 AM to 2 PM makes it very difficult for many people, especially those of us who work retail or have weekend schedules, to ever visit. It ends up feeling more like a missed opportunity than a true community resource. I understand this is a volunteer-based program, and I respect the effort that goes into it. However, expanding the hours--even slightly, such as offering more days or extending to a full-day schedule--would make a huge difference in accessibility. I hope to see this location grow and become more available in the future, because the concept itself is truly valuable.

Everyone was delightful and the atmosphere was pleasant leaving you with a very positive vibe. There were people of all ages doing their thing from toddlers with their parents enjoying the children's room. Some going into the meeting room for a conference and there was a room where they sold books for a a dollar or two or even less! There was a table with little baby plants to take one for free. There is a computer room, and private rooms that I think you can call and reserve and sit in complete quite. There is a genealogy room, a room for young adults and so much more. They have a monthly calendar with activities and events. You can take out 100 books at a time and keep them for 3 weeks. If you want to keep something longer and it is not needed by someone else you can sometimes keep it longer just call or request it online. You can also go online and request books from other libraries and they will see what they can do to try and find a book for you. They have a seed program to help you grow plants indoors if you need. They have a blood pressure monitor program that you can ask about too. This library and its programs care about the community and you. If you need a motorized scooter these they have a few for you to use while there. Marion County library is a wonderful library and makes you feel at home you should visit them soon. I don't remember if masks are required, but the employees have them, and you should too. They have been giving away fabric washable masks there, in fact, as available. They encourage distancing, of course, and the stacks are labeled one way, though the times I have been there lately it is not at all crowded. They have plexiglass shields where you check out. They did some reorganizing when it they were closed. The DVDs are on regular shelves rather than rotating racks - easier to browse. Plus the non-fiction shelves have signs on the ends not only giving the Dewey decimal numbers in that aisle, but some subjects, such as Sports, History, True Crimea, etc. It is all good. As a general note, it is part of henLake a County library system now, which is handy as I can order stuff online from other libraries now and pick them up here in Eustis.
