Horrible service, uncaring people, and they cost me money on my brand new car, and damaged my speakers.
I brought my brand new Audi here. This was my dream car that I wanted since I could remember and I had just bought two days earlier. I looked at reviews on yellow pages and called around and I called this place to see if anyone could tint the windows. I called and asked if anyone was available to tint my windows on my new car. They said yes, I asked when was a good time they replied "Right now." Okay, so I asked how long it would take "Two hours," no problem, I brought the car in thirty minutes later.
A skinny teenager approaches me and I am hesitant at first, but hey I figure they have more than one guy in the back and they all have large, nice trucks in the front of the building so they must take pride in their work right? WRONG. I chose a tint for the windows and then they drove the car into the back garage. A completely tinted window kept me from seeing in and what they were doing to my car. Two hours later, I had still heard absolutely nothing about my car.
The third hour finally the kid came out and told me that they "messed up" on the back windshield. Okay... So I asked to see it. He hesitantly took me into the garage, where there was a horrible tint job on the back window. There was two people working on the tint job and three people sitting around a table, including the receptionist eating lunch. He told me his boss would be there in 45 minutes if I wanted to KEEP waiting or if I wanted to bring it back some other time. And drive around with that crappy job on my back window on a brand new car? I decided to wait.
An hour later the boss comes out and says "Okay, we're all done, we were just short handed." Whatever...
4 and a half hours and 190 dollars. The boss/owner did NOT offer a discount, or much of an apology for taking so long. They brought the car back out. Looked pretty good. But for only 100 dollars, I had taken my old car to a big city's South side and gotten the same type of tint job.
BELOW IS WHAT WENT WRONG.
After taking the car home, and being exhausted for waiting 4 and a half hours for a two hour job, I start to inspect the car.
Surprise, surprise. There is some kind of chemical/spray streaked down the front and back doors of this car from the windows that they didn't even bother to wipe off. There is scuff marks all over the edges of the seats from where they did not lay down plastic and were in dirty clothes, the air conditioning is on full blast and the radio is on a different station, which I assume they'd had the car running and my gas being wasted for four and a half hours. Then the real kicker- I notice my back stereo is rattling.
Keep in mind I BOUGHT THIS CAR TWO DAYS EARLIER in perfect condition.
I get in the back seat to inspect and the BACK SPEAKERS ARE SOAKING WET.
I dropped the back seats down and notice that the sides of the seats are also soaking wet. So I leave them down to dry.
There was nothing I could do about the back speakers. The rattling continued for days- and who knows how wet they got it.
I called a few days later and asked to speak to the manager- the snotty receptionist said she was- and clearly she managed nothing when I waited there for four and a half hours except picking up the grease monkey's fast food lunch. So I said I had a complaint and asked to speak to the men who did the tint job. I told him politely that he sprayed chemical all over the back speakers, and it was all down the sides of the car doors. And not the speakers were rattling- to which he replied "That's not good- bring it in for us to look at."
Now why would I do that?
The speakers are still rattling and I have to take it to the Audi dealer to have them looked at and see just how soaking wet they got the speakers.
These people did not care that this was a new car- they showed NO RESPECT whatsoever for me as a customer- or as a human being in general. They carelessly did a job, they damaged my speakers, who knows how much it will cost me, and they didn't care one bit about damaging my new car (which had no problems before I took it here)
Yet their trucks that they treat like royalty sit in the front of this building, but they only care about themselves- and they don't care about you OR YOUR CAR. read more
