This is a gem in Texarkana! The boudin balls and egg rolls are fantastic for a snack or quick lunch. They have a great selection of meats, entrees and sides for you to take home and heat. We are on our 2nd year of the Lagniappe turduckin for Christmas dinner...a huge hit with the family. The name says it all...Lagniappe is what you get. However, it does come with a price, very well deserved from their products. There is nowhere to eat in store but, staff has always provided great/friendly service. Such a great place with a great selection of meat and southern food. The pre seasoned ribeyes were excellent. The owner was awesome and even cut us ribeye with no seasoning. Steaks were very tender. I am already anticipating the fresh bacon tomorrow morning. We can't wait to return to try more. read more

We love boudin. I stopped by on Wednesday because people have been raving about their boudins. I bought 2 regular boudin and 1 smoked. The owner was very nice and welcoming. I cooked the boudin right when I got home. I was a bit disappointed because it lacked a lot of flavor. The both the smoked and original boudins were heavy on the rice, and not much liver/ meat in it. I'd be happy to update my reviews if I happen to try other items at the store. read more

I'ved never been disappointed in anything from here. Smells so wonderful and yummy when you walk in. I have their lunch meal about once a week and there is always plenty! I love their chicken spaghetti and their hamburger steak days!! It's Cajun so remember somethings are a little spicy but always good. During Covid I use the drive-through and have not been inside the store in quite a while. Workers always have a mask on. Prices are very reasonable for a specialty meat shop. read more

Drove from Shreveport for a stuffed brisket to be told they don't sell those. Excuse me, your website says you do. Spent $50 for a non stuffed brisket. The cut is grossly fatty and mostly inedible. Looks like my dogs will eat well tonight. Save yourself some time, go to Bergeron's in Shreveport or Bossier. Better quality, better flavors. read more

I gave this establishment 5-stars because their products are excellent and always tasty. We just recently picked up some frozen chicken snd sausage gumbo which was great. Also picked up some boudin which the owner took to the back for us and heated it up for us using water....not a microwave! Both products were very tasty! IF there were to be a criticism it would be a very small one. The rice in the boudin was just a tad undercooked. Other than that I've nothing more in the way of criticism. Could have been only one batch and I'm always willing to give the benefit of a doubt! I will definitely be back. FYI...they also serve lunches over there! Check 'em out! read more

Me and My family was very happy, very happy if you didn't read correctly. Waiting on my chef brother to come home to give his sign off but we were overly satisfied with the deboned chicken stuffed with jalapeño, crawfish and cornbread, the andouille sausage, the boudin sausage, the crawfish corn soup and the red beans plus the stuffed pork tenderloin - stuffed with boudin, jalapeño and pepper jack cheese. A friend had asked me to stop at "Sum Burger" on a recent trip down the I-30 corridor and across the street was Lagniappe. Being a LSU alum and not living in cajun country anymore has left a void in my diet! After meeting the owner and discussing a few things with him we left with an ice chest full of several of his frozen items, after a few taste tests. I can tell you this place has easy to prepare cajun meals that make me miss living in Louisiana. Stuffed shrimp and catfish are excellent and the de-boned boudan stuffed chickens are great also!
