Stromboli and Pasta Sampler (lasagna, manicotti and ziti pasta)
    Nancy A W.

The hotel manager recommended we try out this restaurant for our wedding anniversary and we're so glad we did. My husband had the Stromboli and I had the Pasta Sampler (lasagna, manicotti and ziti pasta) and it was so delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service and ambiance was very nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We bought a cannoli for the hotel manager to thank her for the recommendation. I'm so glad we stopped by.

There was a lot of amazing things about my experience here. Only one thing I felt could be better, but I will save that for last, as it's a controversial topic . Let's first talk about the great things. First, the service was amazing. We walked in and the hostess wasn't at their station and not less than 10 seconds went by and a random server noticed and stepped in to seat us. Loved the teamwork! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Second thing was ambiance. It has an old school Italian place kind of vibe. Low lighting, deep colored furniture and even had Sinatra playing in the background[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . Third thing I loved was the Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms ‍ . Tasted fresh, creamy and a great amount of seafood stuffed inside! The one thing I personally wasn't a fan of, was the pizza. Let me be clear, the pizza wasn't "bad" but for my own preference, I felt there were some things that could have been better. I felt the overall pizza was just okay. Things I felt that could of been better (for MY taste), was: 1. Crust - The crust didn't seem to have much taste. I hate to say this, but tasted frozen/and or store bought. 2. Cheese - I'm weird but I felt there was tooooo much cheese. I wasn't able to taste the sauce. It was just cheese and doughy crust. 3. Sauce - I did actually like the sauce! It was just hard to taste with the amount of cheese. Like I said, pizza is one of those controversial topics because there is a hundred ways to make it, so everyone's preferences and opinions are all over the place. So don't let my own opinion deter you from ordering it, you may like it! Over all, a great place! There were many other options (Italian dishes) I want to try in the future and I will be back!

The best food in Texarkana, Arkansas you can go and enjoy it. It's delicious food and the best serve. I love it.

First off phenomenal Garlic bread, Service was top tier. We had the calamari with marinara sauce and stuffed mushrooms to start. If our entire meal consisted just of these two dishes we'd be fine, they were delicious and to dine for. As a man from the south the sweet tea was perfection. The meat lovers pizza was a chefs kiss. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We dined in the rock room which was very classy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My only regret was that I didn't have room for dessert. We will definitely come back again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is such a charming and intimate location for Joe's.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had lunch there, but the Italian vibes made it a touch romantic even for lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ha As always the service was exceptional and the food even better! They have very reasonable lunch special options. Definitely recommend popping in!

First off, can't tell you how heartbreaking it is to know that Pecan Point is permanently closed…read more This place was an absolute gem. Five star all the way. The vibe and atmosphere was stellar. The staff were more than friendly and knew their craft beers! We tried some new flavors and were made undeniable fans. I ordered a plate of Duck Fat Fries. This is a total game changer! Even more so, dipping them golden fried sticks in Truffle Mayo... as Buford T. Justice would say... SUMBITCH. And that homemade ketchup? So good it made me want to go smack Junior's mama. We also ordered the Crawfish Dip. It was disgustingly scrumpdidallyumtious!!! Pure flavor profile explosion in my mouth. Never had anything like that before. My wife and I also decided to split a Smash Burger and that thick cut bacon with juicy beef patties... damn. One of the most memorable and satisfying experiences I've ever had, and I haven't even talked about the drinks. My eyes sparkled when I seen a Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned on the menu. A must try. ER MA GAWD!!! One of the best I've ever had... everrrrrr! We also ordered the Cinn-Full Cran Hard Cider by Locust... I now have to find this... just have to! My FIL ordered an ice cream treat with three spoons... lol. Everyone had to give it a try. We ended up ordering a growler of the State Street Blonde to go, and it lasted a day. Unbelievable. I'm heartbroken the place is closed, but will forever leave an impression of Texarkana for me. Thank you! As always, Enjoy & Happy Road-tripping!!

While passing through on a road trip, my local friend recommended Pecan Point and I'm glad I went. Located in downtown, you'll find free street parking in front of the restaurant. We were greeted as soon as we entered and the inside is spacious and casual. I ordered the raspberry Chipotle smash burger ($16), peach cobbler, and a flight of beer and cider ($10). What made this burger stand out was the raspberry Chipotle sauce and fried jalapeños! The flight includes four 4oz pours of any draught and mine were Irish red ale, Pecan Pointe ale, bock beer, and apple cider. The Irish red was my favorite and the Pecan Pointe my least. I would have liked the cobbler to be a little more crunchy, but was still enjoyable. I recommend and will visit again when in town.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR BRI!…read more Bri is the pastry chef at Twisted Fork. Yo. She is amazing. All you need to do to get an idea is check out the weekly dessert specials (usually some amazing, mind-blowing concoction of a cheesecake). I recently got remarried and we used Bri for our pastry caterer. We wanted cheesecakes and pies. Everyone was blown away! We loved every single one of them! Can't wait to try this week's special!

Was traveling through Texarkana, TX and needed some dinner...stopped in at Twisted Fork. I was…read moreseated and my server was Abby who got me a beer while I looked over the menu. Decided on the wedge salad and the Baja Tacos. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but my tacos are delivered to my table BEFORE the salad, when I asked about the salad the lady said it should be out "soon" {sigh}. A few minutes later the salad arrives while I was looking disappointedly at the tacos. I even asked Abby if this was the normal amount of meat provided on the tacos and she said yes...oh well. Salad was OK, a bit drowned in Blue Cheese dressing but it was an OK salad. The tacos...totally missed the mark. They were supposed to be "3 flour tortillas filled with grilled & blackened red fish, topped with slaw and cilantro cream". There was basically one "fish nugget"...inadequate, the "blackened" was more like tanned so no blackened flavors, while the cilantro cream didn't do anything to improve the dish. I guess I could have sent it back but I combined one into the other two to make them a bit more like a meal. Service from Abby was good, but overall not a huge fan of this meal.
