Love this place. Spaghetti is the best. Pizza Bread with pepperoni is a must. I have never been disappointed.

I didn't look at reviews before going here, that's on me. Service in my experience was good, standard fast food style restaurant where you order at the counter and then go sit. I got the 'Thursday special' Spaghetti alfredo with garlic bread and I got the added chicken. It was okay. The sauce texture was rather thick, comparable to mayonnaise a bit- and wasn't very flavorful, no notes of garlic or buttery flavor or much salt or pepper. Great fast Italian. Accurate orders. Outdoor seating and drive up window. Fast in and out.

The food is great, but if you eat in, one gets the feeling of eating good Italian food at a fast food restaurant.

Torpedos are yummy! Drive through is great and pizzabread is wonderful! Spagetti is really good! I would reccomend to a friend! 10/10!

"Great FOOD!" The lasagna is my favorite (Nice Portions) then their Spaghetti and meatballs, along with the garlic cheese bread... "You'll want to get a LARGE," or you'll be sorry because it's AWESOME! Don't leave without getting some Cinnamon Bread for later . I guess ALL of the sandwiches are great too, but the meatball w/mozzarella would be my pick! Either way, the "sweet" bread is what really set's their bread apart. I've had pizza at a "LaGondola" in Peoria and enjoyed it. I believe they call it their "Leonardo's" pizza. They don't have pizza here at the Kewanee location unfortunately, but they do have the same garlic bread. That's what I tried here and it was homemade, fresh, a sweet kick to it and delicious. They do have a pizza sandwich here but I took a pass, it just didn't sound enough like traditional pizza bread, the way that they make/prepare it. Maybe next time, but I really hate paying for something and then being sorry I ordered it. Lady at the drive-thru was nice and I always appreciate a "drive-thru" in general. read more

If there are few things I can share about La Gondola, which happens to be my parents restaurant, I would recommend... - Get ranch with any and everything! I mean it. The ranch here literally goes with everything and is a huge favorite to all customers - If you are getting the pizza, try it on the white sauce, it's great! - Try a heated torpedo on garlic bread (add some pepperoncini & ranch) - Pizza Bread is a customer favorite - On Wednesdays they have two specialities that sell out quickly due to customer obsession.. The Chicken Breast Sandwich (add tomatoes and pepperoncini's!) and Chicken Broccoli Casserole! Hope this helped!! Also, my parents have been in the restaurant business for over 30 years. I visited this location on Saturday for dinner. We ordered a half gallon of spaghetti and garlic bread. The food is amazing! I also love the salads, especially the Asian Chicken Salad. However, the person working the counter could have used a little more help and it seems like the restaurant could have been set up a little more efficiently to serve customers faster. It seemed like there was a few people working, but the girl at the counter was running around between the back to check on orders, the front counter to take orders and the drive thru. read more

Man, we were all thoroughly disappointed in this place! There were four of us and two of the pasta dishes came out cold and we had to ask the employees to microwave them. The bread was not toasted properly so no one even ate it. I ordered just a salad but I didn't care for the "homemade" dressing. Every dressing was very heavy with cream, there were no light options. The interior wasn't much to look at and seemed like it needed a good scrubbing. Employees were young and just doing their job, not overly friendly. We were really surprised with the quality of the food since the place got such great reviews, both from locals and on Yelp. Maybe it was a bad night but this meal was by far the worst of our trip. read more

The spaghetti was okay. The salad and French dressing was solid and the bread was good. The only problem that I had was the butter being quite possibly the worst butter I've ever tasted and my food being served without a fork at first. read more
