Being able to do things without pain has been so amazing. I went on a trip and knew that I wouldn't have been able to do a lot of the things I did without Pilates. I have flat feet and an extra bone in one foot. My whole body is misaligned because of it and I have had several injuries that are exacerbated by the severe pronation. Working out has always been difficult, pulling muscles easily, spraining my ankles constantly, and knees slipping out of place with barely any force. Pilates has made it possible for me to strengthen, align, and improve every part of my body, allowing me to live a more functional life, all while in grippy ankle socks. I can't wait to see how the next six months go! The instructors are really nice as well and the community is amazing. Emily, I know it's early for a review. Before purchasing, I went to the studio, looked at the available machines in person, and specifically selected Megaformer #8. I photographed the machine, and through multiple text messages and emails, it was confirmed that #8 was the machine we were purchasing. In fact, before I even submitted payment, I sent a photo of the exact machine and stated, "It was number 8. This sexy little number right here." When there was concern that another customer may have purchased it, I waited while the owner checked. She then confirmed that the other customer had not purchased #8 and told me I could send payment for that machine. We then paid the full $5,500. Months later, immediately before pickup, I again emailed specifically to verify that we had purchased Reformer #8 before hiring professional movers. The response I received was: "That is correct, everything is marked for her." Despite multiple confirmations by both text and email, when we arrived for pickup, we were given a completely different Megaformer. The machine we received was visibly not the machine I had selected, photographed, and purchase and much more worn. I contacted the owner afterward and provided the photographs, text messages, and emails documenting everything. Rather than acknowledging that a mix-up had occurred and working toward a reasonable resolution, the response became defensive, and I was repeatedly told that I had "misinformation," despite having the written correspondence showing exactly what had been agreed upon. Mistakes happen. My biggest issue isn't simply that the wrong machine was given to us; it's how the situation was handled afterward. When a customer pays $5,500 for a specific machine that has been repeatedly confirmed in writing through both texts and emails, I believe the business should take responsibility when the customer ultimately receives something different. I have retained the photographs, emails, and text messages documenting the entire transaction. Unfortunately, based on my experience and how this was handled, I cannot recommend this business

As someone who has previous pilates experience, it's so refreshing to come to a studio where the teachers actually value and teach good form, while making sure you get a good workout and follow social distancing (masks on, everything's disinfected, windows open, etc.). At the same time, there's a great balance for beginners to get comfortable with the movements and equipment, since classes are so small. I brought a friend to her first equipment class a few weeks ago and she had a great time, too. Over zoom, I've had a blast with Dana and Brian. I wasn't really a fan of mat pilates classes before, but they've both taught me new equipment-free exercises and exercises with resistance bands that have helped me stay strong at home.

When I moved to Denver, I was hoping to finally find a studio with reformers and other equipment. I go between both studios in the Highlands and Wash Park. The community is just so lovely, the teachers so welcoming and the pricing actually affordable. I went from post-pandemic lack of exercising to Pilates 3 times a week. All of the instructors have been incredible. Emily and Kim truly have the magic touch with these studios. I've been practicing for 5 months and have seen my body change in ways I've never seen by just going to the gym. My body is stronger, more flexible and overall having a bit of a glow-up haha. After losing 120 lbs this has been the best, low impact way to build muscle, have more energy and look and feel pretty amazing. If you have been debating giving this a try or are looking for a studio with kind, helpful and one-on-one attention, this is the place. Street parking could be a little tricky depending on the time of your class, but I parked down the street around the corner. Nothing to fuss about. The studio is attached to an apartment complex, so it looks a bit camouflaged. The entrance is on 29th ave versus the actual address on Wyandot, it's right at the corner and there is a ramp going down. There is also a signage, so you should miss it. I was greeted with warm welcome since it was my first time, I just had to sign a waiver. The instructor gave me the quick run down of the place and how class goes, especially it would be my first time again with pilates since 2017. It is a small intimate studio with 7 machine. They alternate between reformer and cadillac each week, so if you're prone to one or the other best call or text to find out. This week, we're on the cadillac. It was very calm and easy to follow. Definitely for all levels of pilates. I was definitely shaking towards the end of the class and I felt great. I was exhausted for the rest of the day! Don't let the location fool you; it looks a bit like you're walking into an apartment building, but it's cute and cozy and clean once you walk in. The equipment is great (some of the best reformers in the city). Most important are the teachers. Ansley and Krista are both pros; I always feel like I get a solid workout, but I also love the cooldown/stretch at the end (not every studio does this). Oh, and they have the best music mix. They do a great job with watching your form and giving tailored, personalized adjustments. And they clearly explain how to modify each move so you can push yourself, but not feel intimidated when you're starting out.
