I was busy that night but the fact that she went out of her way to accommodate me even though it was my mistake is stellar customer service. I have been to the other location for Pilates numerous times and now that I know how committed the ownership is to taking care of clients, I'll definitely be back to both.

And despite having a spot in the class, they turned me away for being late as the class was full. As they allowed the wait list to take my spot. Which, ok I should have left earlier, so I let slide. This next time, I was first on the waiting list, and I got in the class. But someone who had scheduled to be in the class, but hadn't shown up on time, arrived 7 minutes late! The class had begun, I had already set up my reformer and started working out, but was told to leave, so this woman who was late could have my spot! This is inconsistent and stupid! Im annoyed! Will never come here again! No idea of the instructors and if the class is actually good, as I wasn't able to get to try a class! UPDATE-REPLY : This was the location in Summerlin Las Vegas, Nevada in village square that has Kinderland a couple doors down and La La photography above it. I was 1 minute late for my workout that I had pre-scheduled and turned away - fair enough. For this next class, I was first on the waitlist and was let in after 5 mins as someone did not show up and started my workout and it got to 7 mins after the class started and someone who had scheduled showed up late and I was kicked out and had to go home, so that they could workout. I just felt like this was a double standard, since I was turned away for being 1 min later after I had scheduled. But this woman was 7 mins late and I got kicked out so that she could workout. You did not find my name in your data base cause Kay is my nickname (short for Kendra) and I have been since married and my last name no longer begins with G! I'm pretty sure this is the location where this took place

Toning up by butt for pool season…read more I got a sweet Livingsocial deal here... 5 classes for 49 bucks (normally 200). I had no clue what I was getting myself into. The studio is small and clean (only 4 students per class). I was the only dude in all the sessions. I worked with 3 different instructors (Maria,Monica, and Jen). All very knowledgeable and professional. They focus a lot on toning legs and butts. Its definitely a lot harder than it looks. Overall, the classes helped me increase my flexibility, strengthen my inner thighs, and tighten my butt. Keep up the good work, Body in Mind!

I initially thought we would be using the reformers but it turned out to be an intimate mat style Pilates class given my Nina. She started off telling us about the benefits of Pilates and how she got involved in it. She refers to her class as Bootylates and she is a walking advertisement that it works! I currently take Hot Pilates at another studio so I was familiar with most of the exercises we performed. What differed about this class is being that it is not in a hot room I really felt I could concentrate more on the actual exercise, my form and my breathing more so then I do in a Hot room where I know those things get compromised as fatigue from the heat sets in. This studio is on the smaller side, Nina had 12 mats set up for us and there were about nine of us in class. The class size max is also a bonus as Nina can check form and correct if needed. Although she didn't use the reformers they are in the studio along with some . And just this week I saw a Groupon for a one on one session for $50 which is quite the deal for this type of instruction. Drop in class rate is $20.

As someone who has taken an extensive number of reformer Pilates classes over the past year, I'm…read morealways on the lookout for studios that bring a strong balance of atmosphere, instruction, and efficiency. After noticing that a few instructors from Core Pilates/Sunday Pilates also teach at The Good Place, I decided to give it a try--and I'm glad I did. The Good Place may be a compact studio, but the layout is impressively well thought out. With 8-9 reformer machines per session, there's enough spacing between each station to move freely without feeling cramped. The aesthetic choices here are particularly striking--neon backlighting in hues of purple and blue softly illuminates the studio, giving it an elevated yet relaxing ambiance. A neon sign glows in the back, and a rainbow-branded wallpaper accents the left wall, adding personality without overwhelming the space. Booking online is straightforward and hassle-free. A major plus is how quickly they accommodate waitlisters--life happens, people cancel, and if you're local, this can be a great last-minute opportunity to jump into a session. When I brought a guest, the front desk (which sometimes doubles as an instructor role) was warm, professional, and welcoming. They made the check-in process effortless, offering a quick rundown for first-timers and guiding us to our reformers. The Tower Reformers here are slightly different from the Cadillac reformers found at other studios like Sunday Pilates, but the instructors are well-versed in guiding both newcomers and experienced practitioners. It's refreshing to see a studio that fosters familiarity between instructors from different Pilates spaces. The Tower side of the reformer looks intriguing, and I'd love to explore that aspect in future sessions. So far, I've attended two sessions in the early afternoon--one fully booked and another with a smaller, more intimate class of six or fewer. Regardless of class size, the instructors deliver clear, concise cues, ensuring that no movement gets lost in translation. The music selection is thoughtfully curated--high-energy beats to keep you engaged during the session, transitioning into calming tones for relaxation at the end (a great touch during leg circles). A Few Notes for Future Visitors * The studio can get a bit warm during sessions, so I recommend bringing grippy gloves for better control on the machine and boxes. * Non-slip grip socks are essential, but that's standard for any reformer Pilates class. * If you're looking for a studio that welcomes guests from other Pilates spaces and values attentive instruction in a visually appealing environment, this is a solid choice. I'm looking forward to exploring their Uncommons location next--it's always exciting to see how a brand adapts its signature experience across different spaces. The Good Place in Henderson already sets a high standard, and I'm curious to see how it translates elsewhere.

The studio seems clean but not all the reformers were in the best shape. The one I was on had slits in it exposing the underneath padding on the carriage. This is the first time I've seen this. Luckily, it did not affect my workout but I also felt a jostle in the foot bar from the springs often when I pushed them out as well that was a bit off putting. It would soon be known to me that amongst that group included the instructor herself, Ilsa. It wasn't until 0605 that the doors opened, to which we were not checked in formally, not greeted, and watched as the group recalled stories such as kid's birthday parties or true crime stories (as per the instructor, she had personally shared an anecdote of a baby being killed or cut out of a mother). I am so disappointed in this studio. We had to leave around 15 minutes in due to everyone just talking and not receiving clear instructions. The instructor herself was yawning, sitting down, and not really teaching. I felt as if we weren't even meant to be there. Not to mention, the reformers were extremely old and lowkey disgusting. They were ripped up, like old leather furniture. Honestly you guys have a huge audacity lmao
