Everyone had such a wonderful time and you can tell that everyone working there is really attentive and has a lot of heart for what they do. Lots of flowers to pick from considering it was April and the rain had just stopped. Wasn't too expensive but on the higher side compared to the simplistic things you can do in Sonoma county. The value certainly was there!

When we arrived it looked like not much was in bloom, but our pitchers were soon stuffed with a variety of of cut flowers, decorative grasses and greens. We loved the experience of choosing each piece and making our own bouquets. What I learned was that other beds will be in bloom later as the season progresses. Actually, they had blooms into the fall last year! I can't wait for the dahlias in August and see what blooms in October! I went back today and it was fun to see what was still in bloom and what was new. There are so many different flowers and decorative grasses, etc. that you just don't see in stores. I also got a snapdragon start last time and it looks so good in our garden I got a few more. They have other starts too if you want some cut flower plants closer to home.

Suncatcher Farm is located approximately 3.3 miles from where Washington Street at Howard turns into Bodega Ave (or 1 mile from Thompson Lane). They have a decent size covered farm stand so you are protected from the elements if it's raining, windy, etc. They farm 10 acres of land for their farm stand, and they are Certified Organic by CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers which is a U.S. Department of Agriculture accredited organic certifying agency and trad e association.). All of their produce are nicely laid out with signage for each one listing what they are and prices. They have a large variety of produce, a scale for weighing if it's by the pound, bags so you can take your treasures home and it's all on the honor system. They have a board with all the ways to pay along with the info you need to do so (Venmo, cash & check). To keep up on the days and hours they are open, it is best to check out their Instagram page (@suncatcher_farm) and Facebook page (@suncatcherpetaluma) for days and times they are open as they do weekly updates. Currently they are open Monday through Saturday 11am to 5pm, and closed on Sunday's. However, they sometimes post that they will be open so keep an eye out on their Instagram and Facebook page. This is one of my two favorite farm stands in Petaluma and I love buying fresh produce from local farmers!

The kind of bitter I had taking over my mouth for half a day even after brushing and rinsing my mouth and eating. This happens when potatoes are exposed to light or extreme heat or cold, it's poisonous actually. I had to throw them all away. They had a few goods made by locals which were cute and some other produce that looked good I bought, but tbh I got scared to eat it after the issues with the potatoes. I like the set up and farmstand a lot, but they need to quality control a bit more.

Even after moving from the Bay Area to the Central Coast, we continue to visit and stock premium La Crema wines. Our favorites are clearly the "Nine Barrel" Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Kelli Ann Vineyard Chardonnay is right up there with our all-time favorites, year after year! If you're looking for a wine club (and we've been in dozens and dozens of them over the years), La Crema is the place to start. A special shout out to Madi for setting the bar high for wine club customer service!

When we arrived I was amazed at how beautiful the estate is and the vineyards are well kept and breathtaking. As we entered the estate we were greeted my the host as my friends had reservations and since it was a hot day we did our tasting inside with a wonderful window view of the vineyards. We were each giving a glass of the Pinot Noir Rose which was absolutely refreshing and delicious this was actually my favorite wine. We had wine tasting of both Red and White wines. I am more of a Pinot Noir drinker than Chardonnay. Every tasting we had was really good, but no of them topped that fantastic Rose. Ursula, I believe was her name was our wine host is she was amazing and explained the different wines and the vineyards and where their grapes are grown. After out tasting we had a really nice picnic outside and enjoyed each others company. I would definitely come back without a doubt.
