They have also offered helpful advice over the phone when I have rung them. As I live 90Km from Adelaide this has saved me driving there only to find that one simple piece of information has solved my problem. Volker and Marianne Sprinkmeier have run their shop for 35 years, and both their daughters have inherited the love of crafting gold and silver. When you go into the shop, you see them working on strange machines at the back of the shop, from where they greet you with smiles. Every piece in the shop is unique - nothing is mass produced or reproduced. They make many pieces by customer request, and are happy to use your own designs or work with you to make a design that best suits you. This would be a beautiful way to have your wedding rings made, or a piece for a special occasion. They also do remodellings, and can make pieces from your own gold, so if you have a special piece that you want to turn into something else, you can keep the original material. Daughters Katrin and Michaela both design and make their own jewelry, which is quite different in style from each other's work as well as from their parents. There is so much to look at in this shop. Because of how it is made, most of the pieces have an almost medieval feel, which is so unique and interesting. They use a wide range of different stone and gems in their base materials, and it seems they could make anything you or they can conceive of.

It's refreshing and great to know that every piece belongs to itself. There aren't really any copies here, and certainly no mass-productions. I feel I should mention that just because the products aren't static, doesn't mean they're all strange and unusual. This is still stuff you'd want to wear or own. This isn't some sort of strange Gothic store or anything (though there are SOME goods that might make you think that). All told, this is a great shop and one I can guarantee I'll be returning to when I'm in need of a good birthday/anniversary present.

Being young and ready to move out of home soon, I've been gathering bits and pieces. I got a full solid wooden queen bed here with a beautiful mattress (I like quality so it was a nice soft one), for only $1500 with 2 bed side tables with draws which I thought was great. They deliver to your house as well which is handy, seeing as my car won't fit a queen mattress in the boot obviously. The staff are a little busy almost all the time so be prepared to wait around a bit or go hunting for someone, and they aren't too knowledgeable so I always go there with a certain thing in mind and research myself.

Thought they say they sell both new and used books, I can't really tell in the store which ones are…read moreold and which ones are new... because they all look like they've been sitting there for a while. They have a decent range of books, but it's nowhere near the best. They don't have a very big Stephen King section, which always leaves me disappointed. They have a pretty good biography section and Australiana section if you're into that sort of thing - but I didn't really find anything that interested me in there. They also have a fair few 'classics' (that I've never heard of) which look very old school and pretty, and there's also a lot of children's books. Prices aren't too bad but they aren't as cheap as some used book stores.

The store was small and so we were constantly in each other's faces, and I wasn't even given any eye contact. It's a big shop filled with various under garments and what caught my eye was the A frame signage on the footpath. Turns out they specialise in breast prosthesis (any reversals?), surgical bras, surgical corsets, back support, binders and corsets, etc but there's so much more to this shop. The lady I was speaking to was lovely and we chatted about other subjects apart from lingerie which is nice to get a relaxed staff / customer rapport. She is very passionate about her domain and can advise on anything you specifically need for your body shape and needs. The shop manages to soften its' interior with two beautiful large black chandelier inspired decorative lights. The shop is well lit and well organised, there is also a small dress up section if you know what I mean, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. But sometimes the line does become blurred when it comes to lingerie doesn't it. Where else is there to go? So, if ever you're in need of have a specialised fitment of the prosthetic or support aid, this is definitely the place to go to for help.

I'd been wearing terrible bras for years being too lazy/a bit embarrassed to get properly fitted. The proprietor (I assume) Enza had me measured and trying on a perfectly-fitted bra within about two minutes. Then she kept me supplied with about a dozen different brands and styles to try on to make sure I had the best one possible. The shop seems to have a big range despite the small shopfront, and brilliant friendly service. Highly recommended!

The brands they stock are unkown to me as they're not regular names seen in other furniture stores and not too sure about their durability, so from the surface it all appears to be along the same lines as Le Cornu stocked items. Plus, you'd never know what brand is what as eveything is re-badged, so you can't do price comparissons or get them to price match with other stores, same goes for other stores also. They carry all the furniture items needed to furnish a house and it's cheap to do just that plus it will also serve the purpose of guest room or student homestay needs. Prices are cheap but you get what you pay for.
