Finally I had someone come to my house and replace 3 of the 4 windows and then write on the windows "do not use/do not open" because when he was doing the work a part broke, this is fine, it happens .. BUT to not hear from anyone from the company for weeks (In the summer) and when I call over and over I get sent to a voicemail or a women answers and says please hold before you can even talk and then sit anywhere from 10 minutes and up is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. When I finally did get to talk to someone she told me the window for my kitchen was damaged in transit and they have no information on when it will be in(no one called me to tell me this) she said she would get some information and call me back... never got a call back. I've now been on hold again for 15 minutes, to have someone answer and say someone had Covid and they are taking precautions. This has nothing to do with making a phone call out to just give some information I understand being short staffed but to not reach back out to your customers or inform them of what will happening with products that have been paid for to just sit for months/weeks with no call back is absurd. I'm not typically a person to give a bad review but all i asked for was a phone call or email even if the install couldn't be done and i couldn't even get that! I wont personally ever be dealing with them again.

It's within walking distance to downtown Berlin's library, city hall, and shopping too. AHEAD has a skilled maintenance team, and I've found them to be very responsive to any of my infrequent reports of needed maintenance over the years. They also offer a 24-hour maintenance reporting service. Management has executive personnel with appointed hours, on the property, including someone assigned to assist in coordinating tenants with outside, needed services. There's an outdoor area with raised beds for gardening, as well as a nice pergola with shade and a gas grill that we can use at will. I'm delighted to be living here.

Cigarette smoke is prevalent and overbearing, and again, management are slow to respond and threatens complainers with "harassment" instead of earnestly going after smokers. The heat works "Overtime," and can stay in the eighties for days, inspite of turning it down. Sewage is an issue as management waits until things backup to call for it to be emptied. The noise from pipe expansion overtakes the television. Accommodations are ignored, even when approved. Their favorite words are, "Continued...anything..."are a lease violation" and that is how they make residents back down from complaints. Staff are overbearing, if not downright scary to the elderly. People live in fear of being kicked out. It's unhealthy here.

One of his employees appears to have taken some cds from my house. This employee also stole from SBP Builders too. This guy no longer works there as he skipped town. Also I found that cleanup was never really done after a job. I had to do some major cleaning myself and there is a general disregard for the rest of the home by all employees, using furniture as places to leave tools etc. They installed a door the wrong way, it swings inside and not outside as I asked. They hung a mirror in my bathroom that is still wobbly and makes it hard to clean for fear I will knock it down. The price was decent. Overall, I would rate SBP builders as 'okay'

No follow up, unless you call them and then usually get voicemail and days for a call back. Their invoicing practices are suspect at best. Just give you a total number for the product and the installation, No details of how much sq. footage you purchased, what the per sq foot cost is, or what the cost of the installation is - just a total. I spent a lot of money here on floors, which they still have not come back to finish installing, but will never give them my business again. Looking for countertops, but will go elsewhere for sure.
