They also note future possibilities on the website. This is an "aftermarket Lego retailer" (not an authorized Lego Store) as noted on their website. This means that even the well-priced pick-your-own used Lego bin was virtually all Lego brand.  There was a mix of already built sets to gawk at, as well as plenty of new but often already retired sets to buy on site. I saw a couple used sets and expect to see more in the future. There was an additional make-your-own minifigure bin. I didn't find the price that appealing, but many other people seemed to and there was a good amount to choose from. As for pricing of sets overall, it's likely as you would expect. Lego sets tend to go up in value as they are retired and become scarce. The main difference here is that you'll get a set for around market price, but not have to pay an additional shipping fee from an online marketplace. Plus, the security and joy of seeing the box in person, seeing the face of the person you bought it from, and putting that box under your arm the same day adds so much to the experience. I'm excited to see what the future brings for this store. On another note, I'm told they also buy used Legos directly from people. It seems to be a physical manifestation of the EmpireBricksNY storefronts on Brick Owl and BrickLink.

They are also pretty no-nonsense as in you are not going to find their walls filled with new comics and those 1:100 variants, but you will find boxes and boxes of back issues. They do have some new weekly issues, but really focus on the older stuff. And they have some pretty reasonable prices. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and can answer almost anything you have a question for.

This is easily the best selection of pre 2000s comics in the CNY area, but if you want post 2000s books, he has those too. A must stop for comic collectors passing through CNY.

That's where Walt's really shines -- long after the posted hours, they open the space to all sorts of local hobby groups. I've been there with a rocket club in the back room, RC cars going on the track, and yet another group up front, meeting in the actual hobby shop part. The staff is super-friendly, and willing to help out and offer suggestions for whatever kind of project you want to take on. If you need hobby stuff, this is a great place to go in the Syracuse area.

When you walk in, the shop takes you back to a fantasy store I wish I had as a kid. They have so many of the shirts from the 90's, toys, excellent quality jackets and other vintage stuff. They even have a working floor piano! If vintage swag or old school street wear is your thing, I think this store will have something you'd like. The service was excellent and the owner was excited about his goods and that made the experience even better. I'm always a fan of clothing stores that have a passion for fashion and by the owners style, I'm sure he'll get you right.

Just Games is located in a large strip plaza in Penfield, and can be a bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area (i.e. me). However, once inside, it feels like you've left the hustle and bustle of the plaza behind. The manager (owner?) of the store was super nice and showed me a few things in the store, gave me their normal schedule of events, and made sure to introduce himself and get my name as well. I purchased some sleeves for one of my games and signed up for their free customer rewards program. As well as having your normal Magic the Gathering cards and supplies, the store boasts a large collection of tabletop games and accessories. Newer titles were on the shelf as well as plenty of expansions and other goodies. The store itself has a large collection of games that customers are welcome to open up and play while in the shop, and if desired, rented out for a small fee. This was probably the highlight of my visit. I tried out a couple new games and made mental notes of the games I wanted to come back and play/rent. Despite living about 75 miles away, I fully plan on taking a trek back out here to join a game night and meet some new people, learn new games, and enjoy what this shop has to offer.
