always find their knowledge and service exceptional. serviced a boat I bought used that had a cooling issue fixed 100% within 1/2 hour. recommended I have water pump during winterizing and it needed a new one. Bought a new boat a few years later and deal was not a sell me what they have ready deal they got the right boat ready for me quickly. Everyone was excellent. I took my boat to them for warranty repair and to have a fish finder installed. 3 weeks to get the work done, but they are probably busy. They wanted to charge significantly more than they initially quoted for the fish finder work. After my complaining they reduced the labor. My biggest issue is when I got the boat home and took off the cover there was lots of fiberglass shavings at the helm and styrofoam pieces all over the place. The interior was filthy and there was lots of water in the bilge making me believe that they stored the boat in their yard with the cover off (I delivered it clean with the cover on). In March of 2025 my 2024 Lund Impact 1775 was at Lake Drive Marina for warranty work. The rear casting deck was installed tilted by the manufacturer. In an attempt to correct this problem, long self tapping screws were used. This caused an unsafe situation for myself and ruined the ice container. I took the boat back and the question to me was"do you even use this as an ice bucket". I had hoped their only concern was to return my boat to its original condition. I was told then they would order a new container; to date nothing has been done to rectify this. I have stopped in to the dealer twice and have called many times each with an answer that they will call me back but that has not happened. Due to heart issues I am on blood thinners and the screws that went into the rod area poised a safety concern for me because I bleed very easily. I did replace those screws with stainless steel bolts. They did remove the screw that ruined the ice container and installed a bolt so it could be used and water would not leak into the hull. My last conversation with Jaren (owners son) was on May 13, 2025. He was to find out the status and return my call. As of this post, still nothing! On a positive note, I love my boat and have found a dealership to service it. read more

I purchased a 2021 South Bay tritoon with a sweet 2020 Mercury 225 from Lake Drive Marina on Coldwater Lake towards the end of the summer. After my wife and I sign the papers to purchase the boat it took about one week to get it I was so excited. I received a call from Jeff the owner of Lake Drive Marina saying my boat was ready to be picked up. My wife and I went over and picked up the boat. Right when I got home I put it in the water after a few times on the boat I noticed a few things wrong with it. The 1st thing the trim gauge did not work and the engine trimmed up too high where it would hit the boat if you were not careful. The 2nd thing on the front seat a hinge was bent and would not shut properly. The 3rd thing the latch was broken on the glove compartment in the console above the steering wheel and the 4th thing the steering on the boat was not working properly when I turned right it would turn fine when I turn left the steering wheel was so hard to turn. After about a week having the boat in the water and taking it out about five times within that five times we floated around we cruised and I pulled the kids on the tube to break in the new engine so I kind of knew the boat a little bit and what was wrong with it. I mean this is a brand new boat there should be nothing wrong with it right. So I called Lake Drive Marina and I talked to Jared which is Jeff son, told him about what was wrong with the boat. We agreed on leaving the boat in the water and enjoying the rest of the summer because I bought it so late in the season. When I was ready to pull it out I can just bring it to the marina and he would fix everything that was wrong with it. Jared said maybe after using a steering wheel for a little bit it would loosen up. It never loosened up it only got worse. At the middle of October I called the marina and told them I was ready to pull the boat and if it was okay to bring it to them. Jared said it was okay but he did not have the steering parts yet but I can still bring the boat over and he would have his mechanics fix the other things wrong with the boat while they waited for the parts to come in. The marina had my boat for 3 weeks. Jared called me and told me my boat was ready to be picked up and my bill was $230 to winterize the engine. So I went to the marina paid my bill and talked to Jared and he said everything was fixed on the boat and I said Thank you paid my bill hooked up my boat and went home. When I got home I started to look at the boat and noticed the bottom of the engine on the skeg looked like it was scraped across concrete it was all mushroomed out. This is a brand new engine. So I continued looking at the boat and when I looked inside of it, the boat was covered with muddy boot prints all the stuff that was underneath the steering wheel console pulled out and scattered all over the floor. If you take the time look at the pictures and you will see. So when my wife got home I showed her the boat she called Jeff and talk to him and he apologized and said he would come pick up the boat and fix it and get it detailed. The next day they came and picked up the boat.Had it less than 24 hours and it was back in my driveway. I got home from work and said there's no way they got that done and that short of time. So I looked at the S Keg on the engine all they did was grinded it down and spray-painted it. Inside the boat was the same muddy footprints and everything all over the place, he did not have it detailed. My wife call the marina again they did not answer she left a text message with them and they did not reply back. I have not heard from them since they dropped off the boat in that condition. Very very bad experience with this Marina. The service really is bad. I cannot believe the way they treated us and this whole situation. Lake Drive Marine parked our pontoon under a tree before they were able to fix it. Seedlings from tree stained upholstery. It ruined the boat. They wouldn't clean but wanted to sell us a product that might clean it. To date, nothing has removed stains. read more
