I really cannot say enough good things about them but I shall try!…read more MKD took care of our every concern and responded to every question immediately, whether by phone, email, or text. We dealt with 2 different agents, both of whom were excellent to deal with. The process for selecting the casket, printed materials, and flowers ON SITE went very smoothly. Mike Matthysse took great care to understand details about the deceased and make sure our obituary was perfect and to our liking.Their facility (we used the Grandville location) was spotless, with several helpful staff to direct people. Our committal was some distance away and required a procession with flags on the cars from the funeral home to the cemetery. This was handled flawlessly. They also provided a quiet time for anyone present to approach the casket before lowering it. We had them provide a luncheon after the funeral, which was delicious and beyond our expectations. MKD handled the payments for church, music, sound, custodian, and lunch. After the service they packaged everything up while we mingled with the luncheon guests, and included some thoughtful remembrances, along with advice for handling after death details. I have no hesitation in recommending MKD.

I picked up after they had called several times, was told I would get the "free" organizer if I "sat down with them to talk about pre-planning" first. Their marketing has caused them so much ill will (at least with me). I am so mad at them, I am not planning in dying now.
