It became annoying and uncomfortable. The cashier was very kurt with me for no reason. And the entire vibe of the shop was just off, so minus a star. But, hey, don't let my visit discourage you from checking it out!

I used to really like thrifting at the Goodwill stores, then they raised prices and replaced the…read morediscount colors with a $5 discount if you spend $30; but of the local Goodwill stores the Chadon location is one of the better ones. Located near the center of Chardon in a larger strip mall this store generally gets better quality items and there are some occasional gems. A typical Goodwill thrift the majority of the store is clothing, there is a large section with home goods, kitchenware and decor; the smaller sections include sporting goods, art and furniture. I have found some really nice pieces here including motorcycle boots, a Native American hand drum and a good sized All Clad pan; these types of finds bring me back to hopefully find more. I do see many items that are either overpriced or just junk; on my most recent trip I did see the lid from Whirley Pop pan by itself priced at $6, I have seen items which cost the same as if you were buying them new at a retail store. Due to its location the Chardon Goodwill store does get some great items, well worth a visit if you are in the area, unfortunately you have to wade through quite a bit of junk and overpriced items to find the good stuff. A bit more attention to the sorting and pricing would be appreciated and could help make this a destination rather then just a stop since there is a better thrift store nearby.

I I was told if I spent more money I could get a better quality casket. Really???? I pulled the fleece blanket down so I could hold his hand and he was never changed in to the clothes that I brought for him. He had a clean shirt but they laid out the clean jogging pants over his dirty pants. His pants had feces on his pan. They never expected me to pull down the old fleece blanket I bet. They got caught disrespecting my son. Just because he was getting cremated you don't do this to a person. My last day with him is that Ihe was buried in the creamatjion with poo on his pants. I told the 2 priests at our church they were astounded that they would do this to a body. I am not even surprised when they never apologized.
