The grass field is always dirty never gets cleaned. One time we had to walk around the grass field and found a used tampon on the grass field. The classroom floors are always dirty never gets cleaned the proper way. Overall the school is cramped especially in the cafeteria they once had all the 6th, 7th and 8th graders in the cafeteria at the same time all crowded and stuff. The pe room tiles are destroyed and are coming off there are a few ceiling tiles missing, there's a hole on the wall that still hasn't gotten fixed. Yet the staff is so careless they do nothing when a fight happens they just stand there and watch. Another thing is that most classrooms don't even have air conditioners and teachers refuse to open the classroom door. Yet they do nothing when it comes to bullying they'll say oh let's be kind to each other and still won't care whenever someone is bullying you and they'll excuse it saying it's just kids having fun. School needs to be either shut down or get better staff, cause now they really be hiring anyone as teacher or staff in general, especially weird grown adults.

Parents are not allowed on campus even with verified legal documents. They want parent involvement, but how. We can't walk our kids to class, we can't visit the classes. We can't even reach the principal or vice principal via email. Only have access to the teacher and a front office person via an App. I have provided documents about my childs ongoing sessions, and I'm getting annoying threatening notifications of unexcused absences. Then there is the nurse, smh my first year at this school, and I want her gone. She has an underlined problem that is obvious but ignored. When I can find another school that's fitting, I'm pulling my child from here. There are some nice staff, but overall, this school is not mentally, emotionally, or academically healthy for my child.

Since I have been there, there has been a lot of changes and improvements for the better. I struggled a lot with mathematics like a lot of other students but Miss Cho or one of the wonderful tutors was always available and willing to help me. In fact everyone on staff was always ready to help anyone that needed it. The receptionist Amber has always been especially sweet, often bringing food for everyone, encouraging students that they can finish, and generally making sure everyone is taken care of. Leaving my normal high school to come here was a choice I will never regret. Independent studies isn't for everyone but for me it was defiantly the best way for me to finish high school and earn my diploma.
