I am a former customer - I called to have some outlets looked at or replaced back in June or July. They returned my initial inquiry call (nice guy) but when it came to actually scheduling the work, they never called me back despite my leaving another message to hire them. Maybe my job was too small or maybe they are too busy...who knows? So while I can't review their electrical service, (was always good in the past) the only thing I can review now is their lack of customer service. Unfortunate. read more

Todd came out Wednesday to install an overhead light in my bedroom. He was very fast and after installation he made sure he cleaned up everything including vacuuming the floor to make sure he didnt leave any mess behind. I will not use any other electrician other than Todd. Wonderful man, very polite and sincere in his wanting to do a good job for you. I highly recommend Lake Park Electric. Great customer service. Great pricing, on budget and schedule. They did a complete basement electrical install for me for theater room and bar. They set up my TV electronics and speakers. Back lighting TV's, pillars, under cabinet and under bar lighting. All fantastic ideas came from them. I'd ignore previous (years old post). My reasoning: If they did work for a person, and then they were called back for a second job... the first job must have been satisfactory. No adda boy on Yelp for that job. Right? Why low stars now? He accessed my issues. He explained what he was going to do. I found him to be very polite, knowledgeable and time efficient. He even cleaned up upon finishing. We gutted and remodeled our newly purchased house - the existing electrical was a complete mess. Lake Park Electric came in and completely rewired the entire house! Fast! I had a tree fall on the back of my house and it ripped out the power lines the day before Labor Day. I wanted until the day after Labor Day to call. They were great with being able to come in the morning but they showed up an hour late. They looked at what work was going to need to be done and just started doing it. They never asked if I was okay with any of it nor did they tell me how much it was going to be until they started. 2 guys came and 1 was on his phone most of the time. Definitely wasn't a 2 man job and was charged full price for having them both there (again while the one was on his phone the majority of the time). I will not recommend them nor will I use their services again. It also has taken them over a week to cash the check I sent them, when he made sure to point out that if he has too many open open permits they give him issues with opening more. read more

Please don't use this guy for your electric. I have a rental property that was being overhauled 3 years ago. I hired Lake Park electric for another project and he seemed to do the work. I hired him for this project and he was terrible! He would schedule time with me when he would be at my job site: no call no show. I called him to reschedule. And again no call no show. This was a big job rewiring all the old knob and tubing. Daily I would call to leave him messages. Finally the same day the tenants were moving in he shows. Fast forward 3 years. I am now selling this house. The electric was inspected and did not pass. Now I have to pay another electrician to come and finish his job. What a loser! read more
