One of the worst massages I've ever had. The masseuse was very jerky and abrupt in her movements, rather than transitioning smoothly between different areas of my body. Most massage therapists I've been to explain what they're about to do before they do it so you know what to anticipate, but she did not, and completely yanked the blanket off of me while I was laying there with no clothes on, with no warning, and the room was fairly cold. Only afterwards did she tell me to turn over. She pulled my leg off the table at an awkward angle and held it up for part of the time, then just let it drop for the other half, which was really uncomfortable. She asked what areas I wanted her to work on, then proceeded to talk over me when I tried to answer. I'm allergic to artificial scents, and while there were a lot of natural oils, there were artificial ones as well, and the smell was overwhelming the second I walked in the room. She also arrived 10 minutes late, which I was understanding of, but then she left me to wait another 5-10 minutes after I'd undressed and waited for what felt like a long time for her to return and actually get started. Overall, not a pleasant or relaxing experience. Would not recommend. read more

Had a massage with Robert- he is amazing!!! He targeted the areas that I asked for with a huge amount of skill and knowledge, you can tell he really knows what he is doing. I located a couples massage option on Living Social for a good price, so I purchased it and last week I made my appointment for this morning. We got there and the interior is nicely done and the Doctor (I think her name is Deb) met with us to discuss any issues we may want to concentrate on for our massages. Shortly after we went into a small room and our massages began. My therapist was Lori and my partner's was Stacy. They were both positively excellent in every form and I would absolutely suggest anyone near go and check them out. They offer therapeutic and relaxing massages, so don't be dissuaded by knowing it is a medical facility, because it is entirely worth it! read more

Like the Bon Jovi tune "You Give Love Bad Name"...this Chiro practice gives the Chiropractic profession a bad name. Took me 1 visit to understand slooooow service over a year ago....adjustments consist of primarily stim with a 30 second " going thru the motion" adjustment. Mine was from the owner....who appears to have a fragile ego....see "narcissistic" wall of pics....."look at me" board in lobby...a lifelong collage of "who I've taken pics with". I switched to my usual "Palmer Chiro graduate" who utilize technique adjustments and not the "throw em on the stim machine" and let them lay. My wife continued to go to this Chiro for over a year...seemed satisfied until she was left in a treatment room for 30+ minutes with no contact recently. She walked and now will seek someone else. Give it a try and be your own judge...however be warned....this is run like a "cash cow"....and lacks the rigor of real chiropractic care. PS- Don't forget to look at owners "I Love Me" wall when you go in....a real treat. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Deb for years, not as often as I should this year. Everyone is always friendly and she always has a smile, hug and sweet thing to say to you. The massage therapists are hit or miss, but Dr. Deb will always be my favorite anyway. Her Thai massages were the only thing that ever made me feel "relaxed"...amazing. She has also helped me with some other issues with the supplements she has available. One of the things that I really appreciated and admired was when she told me that some balance and headache issues needed to be addressed by my primary care doctor (who she also knows and trusts) Dr. Deb knows what works, but also knows that sometimes she can't do it all. I've been seeing the doctors since late June of this year for Osteoarthritis in my knees which was diagnosed in March 2017. I've made good progress but also have had some setbacks, which is normal. The staff has been there to support me through it all. Recently, I was complaining about pain in the joints of my hands, elbows, and fingers. Dr. Bree & Deb both suggested I see a Rheumatologist and have blood work done to rule out RA & Lupus. I am thankful they did as I found out I have RA. I have since made an appointment with a Rheumatologist, one whom Dr. Deb referred. I have to wait until next month to see him. In the meantime, Dr. Deb suggested I follow the Autoimmune Protocol "diet". I've been following Whole30 since March so it's not too bad as I have already eliminated most of the foods AIP requires you to stop eating. It's been almost a week and I am feeling really good. A few months ago I had an issue with a pinched nerve that caused intense pain in my neck, shoulder and numbness on the left side of my face. My range of motion was limited. To look left or right I had to turn my entire body, which among other things, made driving a chore. Not to mention even the simple act of holding & guiding the steering wheel for extended periods of time was extremely painful. My doctors recommended chiropractic help or surgery and my general practitioner mentioned Dr. Debra Schreibman at Lake Pointe Chiropractic by name. At that point my pain level was at a 9 rated on a scale of 1 to 10, so I was desperate for relief. Dr. Deb was very passionate and concerned for my well being from day one. I first starting being seen at Lake Pointe Wellness for joint pain, swelling, numbness and tingling in my hands and wrists. I was also experiencing intense migraines a couple of times a week. Thankfully they had multiple doctors willing to listen and help me diagnosis where my inflammation, migraines and pain were coming from. I started with x-rays which showed I did not have the proper curve in my neck. "Straight neck" was causing the tingling and numbness throughout my arms and numbness into my hands. I was also eating foods which were breeding inflammation in my body and joints. Foods I thought were healthy! (Who knew eggs could give you joint pain?) Dr. Deb did! We put a plan together and I began chiropractic care twice a week. I combined acupuncture, massage therapy and a complete detox to release toxin build up and reduce the inflammation. My body was showing signs of being under a lot of stress. I started to notice my inflammation and pain reducing and additionally lost about 25 pounds without really trying. Before, I would wrap my hands nighty in an ace bandages just to sleep at night because of the pain. I would get off work and go straight to my dark room with a cold rag over my eyes because of the intense headaches. I cannot thank these doctors enough. I have had months of zero pain in my hands, feel less stress and more balanced than I have in my whole life. I almost never have migraines any longer. My GP told me I had Carpal Tunnel and gave me a RX for my pain and headaches. Dr. Deb, Dr. Michelle & Dr. Matt diagnosed and cured my body. I can't thank them enough! I researched Lake Pointe Chiropractic & Wellness Center for my lower back pain and sciatica right leg pain. Once I started with the center, it was great! My pain had stared to get better; but then there was a set back with the back pain. Once Dr. Debra Schreibman realized that I needed extra management, she referred me to an specialist.Which I had to have surgery. They called just about everyday to check to see if I was ok. The day after I had a bad car accident my husband and I went to Lake Point Chiropractic (LPC) in Acworth. Visiting a health professional was not in my list basically because of the emotional shock. We explained the situation to LPC staff and immediatly everyone worked in order to find an available appointment in their busy day. I got a card in the mail about info on reversing Type 2 diabetes. I was excited about the meeting at Henry's Louisana Grill that included a meal. We called before going to be sure they were still having it and the person who answered the phone said it was still happening. We arrived and the hostess knew nothing about it. Now I cancelled something I could not reschedule to attend this. No one at the restaurant knew anything about what happened. We left and went to the car and called the number on the invitation and the woman who answered said she didn't know what happened. When asked why no one called me - she didn't know that either. I asked if she just answered the phone or if she was part of the center and she said she was part of the center. And asked again if I wanted to reschedule. I explained I wanted to talk to someone who could tell me what happened and asked her to have someone call me. It has been a week and I have not heard from anyone. They have no respect for peoples time. We got another invitation in the mail yesterday for a different restaurant. I won't be going. read more

I can't even select a star as this was the absolute worst experience!!! I've been suffering daily with horrible back pain for 18 months! I'm at the point I'm willing to try anything and someone suggested acupuncture so I thought I would give it a shot and found this place on Google. Anything that could go wrong did! They "squeezed" me into their schedule literally! Right into the medical records closet behind the receptionist. Relax?! What? Who could with phones ringing, children running around, appointments being made, intake of guests etc... Then I was absolutely freaking and when the doctor asked how I was doing I told him exactly that. He says, "let me see if I can find something to drape over you," looks around the room, leaves and doesn't come back... still freezing with needles in my arms and feet and can hardly keep from shivering. After all was said and done I walk up to the check-out counter where the receptionist tells me it will be 125 dollars! I was quoted 100 on the phone. She proceeds to tell me that if I can't afford to pay the extra 25 that day she could split it up and I could pay 5 additional with my next visits! I am aghast as I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! 3 phone calls later to and from Jody the office manager, they offered me a small discount on a future visit. What?! What kind of customer service or business practice is that? Stay away! Far away! 125 dollars and 2 hours of my life I will never get back. They do not care about their clients - it's all about paying that mortgage with your Sally Struthers degree. It was like a bad bad movie and I should have removed the needles myself and walked out. I found this place on groupon and was so excited to get two 90 minute massages and find a new place to call home for my massages and chiropractic services. It is very close to my house and read all these great reviews. I walked in and the place felt very homey, calming and the girl at the front desk was extremely welcoming. She showed me around, gave me an introduction and made me feel very at ease. I sat in the waiting area and was offered water from another employee who was very nice. I really liked this place and was even more excited for my massage. Time passed and it was 15 minutes past my appointment time which happens I completely understand. I checked with the front desk to see if my appointment was for 9:00 or 9:30 because I could have been mistaken. The girl at the desk was very apologetic and went to check with my provider to see what was wrong, she came back and said she would be with me shortly. I sat back down in the waiting area and my massage therapist abruptly says to me, " I can't take you until the last person comes out of the room." She had a very aggressive tone. I let her know that was fine and that I was just checking. When the gentlemen came out of the treatment room she comes to me and again, aggressively says, "You ready?" And stomps off to the room. I followed her to the room and she says, "So what do you want to do today?" And yet again I feel very uncomfortable. I explain that I just wanted a massage I had purchased but told her if it was too much trouble I could reschedule. She said, "It's fine but its up to you." She never apologized or even seemed sorry for being so rude. I work as a medical aesthetician and see patients and have appointments all day too and I could never imagine speaking to a patient the way she did. I felt very insulted and uncomfortable. Camille does not need to work in this industry if she can't handle customer service. I left in tears and am very upset by the whole thing. The facility and everyone else seemed very nice but Camille needs to leave. read more
