Before arriving, I called to confirm their hours, and the person who answered--who I later found out was the owner. He was warm, welcoming, and very pleasant over the phone. That first impression carried over into my visit. When I arrived, I was greeted right away and given a personal walkthrough of the humidor. The owner went into detail about the humidor, which I truly appreciated. Being from the U.S., we technically can't have Cuban cigars, so it was a treat to see such a large, well-thought-out selection available here. Beyond the Cubans, the humidor was well-balanced with both legacy brands and boutique options. Pricing was fair, and the variety of sizes gave plenty of choice for every kind of smoker. Overall, I was impressed not only with the selection but with the customer service and genuine hospitality I experienced here. This visit made my trip even more special, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

I buy cigars in all price ranges and I've noticed all of their higher-end cigars to be about 15% higher. I find their humidor does not maintain a consistent humidity and sometimes cigars are dried out. As well items such as boveda humidity packs are substantially more expensive $3 more each I also found that the selection is poor and at times the location will be closed although they should be open but there is no staff there and the door is locked.

Prices seemed fair on the items I looked at, purchased a really nice punch/bullet cutter. (Hopefully I don't lose this one!). Will go back again to check out the actual cigar selection at another time, but based on today a great experience. Staff (owners I assume) were very friendly and happy to assist me when necessary but were not over bearing or looking over my shoulder every 30 seconds. But Smoke & Gift doesn't honor this. I used to use this store weekly for vapor, spent 500 or more on mods and etc. I will not return with a policy that doesn't meet the minimum of the products they sell.
