The total wasn't discounted, so I asked why? He said, cash or check for discounts, no cards. I thought, that's reasonable, as CCs do cost the retailer. I'll pay with a check, and he re-rang to include the discount. I whipped out my checkbook, which was from a CA. bank. With both arm extended out and leaning forward over the counter top, he blurted out, local checks only. I'm starting to not like his attitude. I asked to read the ad from the newspaper, and it did say cash or check, but it didn't say, local checks only. I proceeded to write the check out in spite of his restriction. Handed it to him and he said, I told you, I can't take that. Especially from California. Another friendly fuckin' Texan. We had a short staring contest, but I broke it off with, hold that thought, I need to go to my car. I thought about just leaving but knew he'd get too much satisfaction from that, so I returned with my local check book. He was continuing to stand in the same way, with BAD ASS written across his forehead. I handed him the local check...'got any ID?" Sure I do, I handed him my CA license. He said, this ain't no ID, you got a Texan license? No, I don't. He said, this ain't legal here, I don't have to accept this. I said listen Barnie, I'm really tired of fartin' around, you want me to just leave? He said well, your check looks good, but you best be gettin' a bonafide real license before you come back in here. I asked if he was the owner? He said no. Another short staring contest. Maybe all the locals know him, maybe some even like him, but he's just a Barnie Fife wanna be, probably keeps one bullet in his shirt picket, just in case.

I ended up buying it, cause I liked the flavor. It's called Nowadays. And it has THC in the drink. The samples don't have THC, it's strictly to taste the flavor. And the flavor is really good. I'm interested in seeing how the effect of the THC go. I'll find out. They also gave me a couple koozies with their logo on it Also I did buy the mini Willie Nelson's Remedy THC. Going to try them with a friend and see what he thinks. I have had Willie Nelson's drink. And it does have an effect. And great flavor too. Also bought a grape flavor buzz ball just for nostalgia.

The price is $50 for the 5mg or $65 for the 10mg. Still thinking about. The flavor is delicious. It's a lemon lime flavor. The high you get is pretty good. And you feel great the next morning.
