However, their staff is quite young. Maybe it appeals to other customers. But when a freak windstorm occurred while we were on the boat, we didn't realize what was going on. We tried to park it but it kind of crashed onto the dock because of the waves and they staff just yelled at us to leave our stuff and get the hell out of the boat. And they took the boat back on the water till the winds died down (for 2 hours) which meant we were without our purses and shoes for 2 hours and no keys to get into the apartment. I realize that's not their fault. However, when we realized we'd be there for a while, we took the car and went to London Drugs to get some emergency flip flops. They said they would call us when our things were back and we gave the number of the 2 cellphones we had on us (since the one on their records was still on the boat) and they totally didn't record those numbers because they tried calling us on the phone that was on the boat... And it was just by chance that we got back and noticed our stuff was back, negating the need for the new flip flops we bought. But it was too late. Anyway, bottom line is: Fun rentals, good prices, young employees that are unprofessional.

Now the reason for the three star rating. You're not going to get a high end boat. The seadoos seem newer but the boats are older and show their wear. There's no wakeboard tower on the larger boat so wake boarding is tough for newbees. The tube was a mess and took us over an 1/2 an hour to get sorted and inflated, we ended up using our own pump. They want to get you out on the water which is awesome but for most people they don't understand how to pull people or maneuver a boat so my husband ended up driving for our group while I followed in the much smaller challenger. Lake okanagan is a big lake with big swells so a small boat was not very fun. Would I recommend Mach? Maybe but there are better boats to rent on smaller lakes if you're looking for a boat rental with a better experience this may not be the spot for you

This was the first time parasailing for both my husband and I and we enjoyed every moment of it!…read moreYou don't really need anything for parasailing and can choose between being dry or getting dipped in the water. It's important to keep in mind you're not up in the air for very long. You'll be up there about 15 to 20 minutes and will be riding the boat longer only if there are others on board waiting to also parasail. We absolutely loved it! There is no adrenalin rush by any means but it is amazing to be up in the sky looking at the beautiful scenery with the wind blowing through your hair! It cost 75 dollars per person to ride in tandem. Though it's a bit pricier I felt the experience was worth it! I would definitely recommend this here if you've never done it before. Kelowna is a perfect little spot to try it for the first time.

Super awesome times with Ogopogo parasailing…read more $75 pp for 2 parasailers. We were able to walk right up on May long (even with most of the other companies not yet being open for the season and with 25 - 30 degree weather I'm not sure why they hate money so much). With ogopogo your don't HAVE to get wet. You take off and land on a platform - not from the water and not having to be dragged along the beach or anything of that nature. They can let you dip your toes if you or your boatmates decide you should... so be nice to the crew and your boatmates! The winch brings your in and out in a very controlled way and it's very peaceful the whole time in the air. We got super high and had a nice little tour of the lake front in their jet boat (all decked out like the ogopogo). The only ogopogo we saw was on the boat though - the real one evaded us from the air. Ogopogo is located in a little hut along the water front by their pier and is pretty accessible when you aren't looking for them on the road. You'll recognize them on the lake by their giant happy face smiley sail in the sky. That was our first parasailing experience but we'll be doing that again some day.

They helped me get started and I went back to them several times before I decided I was in the market for a board myself. Turns out they sell them too! I bought a brand new board off them for a pretty good price (around the same price as the ones in costco, but get way more board for the money!) and it has been fantastic! I've had a few small issues here and there with the board, but Barry fixed it for me each time! If you are looking for paddleboard rentals or looking to buy one, Barry will help you for sure!!
