Headaches are now few and far between and while I'm never going to be 100 percent I do have a damn good and productive life. A needle in the hands of a great therapist saved me from major surgery and got me off pain meds daily. No more gaba no prekocet no elivel no anything but a few Naproxsen a few times a week and I live a great life. I do have to have weekly maintenance and it's not a pleasurable treatment but I have my life back and there is no amount of gratitude I could ever show that would equal what I've been given They are amazing and you can't put a price on getting your life back Thanks guys. But smith in waukee is absolutely unthinkable. 3 times this doctor verbally abused me, shouting and making false accusations repeated over and over again. Then, she gets the current doctor scholz involved by spreading rumors and lying. I went for a med check, and scholz brings up medication that wasn't what she told me she was going to change. Then she picks up a bunch of papers, waves them in the air and said, what is this? If I had my wits about me, I would have said you acting crazy. This is a very immature gossipy bunch of women. I doubt that i'm the only one smith has verbally abused. If you were verbally abused by smith in waukee or west des moines put your note in here, the more people tell the less it's gonna happen. Neither of these doctors understands what FM LA is or how it works or what accommodations ate Or how those work, they'd rather gossip and come up with their own weird imaginations. Remember everyone's behavior is their own choice including doctors. Smith eventually kicked me out of her clinic because I was five minutes late. The rule is ten minutes. I've waited for her up to an hour.

My experience with this place is not good at all, I was a patient at the flagship clinic since March of 2023 and if someone would have asked me how I feel about this place 6 months ago I would have said they are amazing, but when they opened the Cedar Rapids Clinic (I had moved to Cedar Rapids to be closer to family) things deteriorated very quickly. I was super excited to get my daughter and best friend into this clinic also. So, to say I was impatient for opening day that would be a gross understatement. However, when the three of us began seeing the provider in Cedar Rapids it was very clear that the clinic was not ready for opening day. They had no front desk staff and the LPN who was supposed to be in the back was the only person helping the one and only provider the clinic had. While this LPN was sweet to begin with, it quickly it became obvious that she was becoming overloaded with the front desk responsibilities, the duties with/for the provider, answering the phones, submitting billing (this is questionable), sending out lab samples , etc...etc.... The first time my daughter was able to get into the provider we were both excited because I enjoyed the care I received at the West Des Moines office so it was extremely unexpected when the LPN snapped at my daughter right away wanting to know why she was in there wanting to change PCP's when she already had a provider, Mind you my daughter was a) wanting a new provider and b) wanted a second opinion regarding a potential auto-immune disorder, which she has every right to. This LPN's behavior got increasingly worse, she was losing entire and partial samples that needed to go to the lab, she was getting more confrontational with me and my daughter, until she did something that I felt warranted being reported to the main office. When the LPN was ultimately fired. I was immediately told by the provider that she was friends with the LPN and wanted me to know that she was refusing to provide my care moving forward. this was in early November 2025. On November 15th, 2025, I received a message from the VP of Member Services on my patient portal telling me that "since I had not paid dues in 3 months Exemplarcare was terminating my membership. Now I don't want to get into too much detail, but I decided to contact my insurance company with this conundrum that happened with Exemplarcare in November, I was advised to ask for a "Billing Audit", so I sent a message through my portal requesting this document and stated that I believed that 2 business days should be ample time to send this document. Later, on Friday, I got an email from the VP of member services stating that if I did not cease communications with the office, [she] was going to seek legal action. Now I assume this means that they are refusing to provide me with that information... I have attached a picture of that e-mail to this comment. Not a great experience in the end! UTA: I just noticed that a staff member wrote their own review in an attempt to sway the overall rating of this place. It's pretty pathetic that a "professional" place of business would need its own employees to write false reviews; this is cheating and if they will cheat for a review the just think about the level of pettiness they take in your care and how they would take great ease in spreading any number of patients business anywhere they please. so Seriously and incredibly pathetic!!!!!!

Dr. Singh was the only one accepting new patients so I went to see her. I was here for two visits. On my first visit she was very nice and took adequate time with me. I had a blood test done and it took almost a week for the results. They called and left me a message to call back but whenever I did, the nurses were always too busy to get to the phone. So, there I was, waiting with baited breath and they left me hanging. I had to leave a message after a few days (honestly I lost track. Maybe 5 or 6 days?) and then they finally hunted someone down to read me my results after waiting another 30 mins. I went for a followup visit and had some weird issues come up with my neck and I had numbness in one of my fingers. Dr. Singh must have been having a bad day - she seemed not to care at all. I have alll the proof its in my med records. They also refuse relief for the excruciating pain. Im in excruciating pain daily, im a huge fall risk at this point, i cant walk many days from pain and bones crumbling and osteo arthritis its caused all due to malpractice ignoring me, my pain etc. This Sounds like a great opportunity to consult an attorney instead of a dr, they might actually help me walk again and not be a fall hazard, maybe ill be able to do normal daily functions again if i join a different medical group that doesn't lie to their patients because lazy or to increase billing and do additional tests for more money. The place is a scam and will not help you and if anything tells u to go to ER for help which is not what the ER is for when i been seeking help for 15 plus yrs and records to prove it. I did have to wait for the Doctor to arrive. The Doctor arrived and came in to the room wearing a summer jacket and me who he was, and basically told the nurse to start giving me meds to knock me out. Well, before I knew it I was awake and the Doctor was still doing the procedure. I was in so much pain and I told the people in the room that it was hurting really bad and to please stop. I then heard him telling me that I needed to relax, and I again told them I was in pain and it was hurting really bad, and again I was told to relax, I asked them again to stop. The next thing I recall was waking up and my wife telling me that they could not continue because I was not relaxing, needless to say I am furious! All that prep, and all the time that went in to this was done for nothing, just because they could not keep me knocked out, how the HELL are you going to relax when you are having severe pain like that? They recommended that I reschedule and have it done at the hospital and get it done under anesthesia and that was it and they told me I could leave. First thing I did when I got home was call my Doctor and tell her I was done and never getting this procedure done again and there was no way that I was going to go under anesthesia just for this, because the 2 times that I have been under anesthesia, they have had a heard time waking me up and my recover rate is long. I also want to add, that I was told they were very busy and the doctor had 15 colonoscopies to do that day, so I feel that's why they pretty much pushed me out of the place because I was taking too much time. My wife said when the Doctor talked to her, he pretty much blamed the failure on me, so again I was very upset! The Doctor who did this was Doctor O'Brien. He seemed like a nice guy and I am not saying stay away from him or anything like that, I am just telling you what happened to me, but as I said, I will NEVER have one of these done again and my Doctor was not happy with what happened.
