The staff is great, the greens fees reasonable, and the pro-shop has a decent selection of balls, tees, gloves, and attire to keep you playing. They do not sell, fit, or repair gear but they do sell food and a basic assortment of beer, snacks, and pop. There is a decent practice green and a nice outdoor range/hitting area to warm up before your round. The course itself is a lot of fun to play and I recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

This was a great spot for skipping rocks and enjoying the beautiful scenery and weather. Great photo opportunities here.

Agate Bay Beach sits beside the waterfront town of Two Harbors, Minnesota…read more First off, the town of Two Harbors, MN is a worthwhile stop to make while driving along the popular 150-mile North Shore Scenic Drive up the northeastern part of Minnesota's coast. Here at Agate Bay, you can pause to appreciate the setting viewing onto the endless waters of Lake Superior. The big highlight is walking on a cement pathway that extends out to a remote lighthouse observation point. This pedestrian strip only takes 10 minutes to walk, but it affords you a picturesque overlook into the wide-open appearance of Lake Superior. You can breathe in the fresh air while making the stroll over to the lighthouse and ultimately, coming to Agate Bay allows for a casual rest from driving, if you're not in any hurry. While visiting back in early June, there were a couple of cars parked in the lot and just a few tourists checking out this cool little beachfront. Generally, it was quiet and not nearly as congested as I had anticipated it to be for peak summer visitations. The historic lighthouse at the end of the beach pier is a rewarding opportunity for a picture with Lake Superior in the background. Lol, it made me ponder...how many of the 5 Great Lakes had I been to??? But overall, it's a pleasant moment outside. And definitely, making the journey on North Shore Scenic Drive is the epitome of enjoying nature, with loads of beautiful state parks and gushing waterfalls. Lastly, located just before the walking pier, they have a few picnic tables set up which is a nice chance to enjoy lunch with a view. From here at Agate Bay, I'd suggest grabbing dessert 3 miles away at Betty's Pies before spending time at fantastic MUST DO - Gooseberry Falls State Park.

The park was right in the heart of Duluth and offered up some very fun yet wild hiking trails to explore. There was even a waterfall to find at one point. Lots of parking and a playground make this a great stop for those who want to experience nature without having to drive too far out of town. This aquarium had a lot of fun exhibits including some hands on exhibits with touching a jellyfish, touching a sturgeon, etc. The team at the aquarium are friendly and helpful. My son really enjoyed the Great Lakes water play area with the boat locks. They also had a lovely more tropical fish area where there are a lot of fun fish like a clown fish, octopus, sea horses, sea dragons, etc. Also a wonderful photo opportunity right outside along the waters edge...there's a sign that says (heart) DULUTH.

He also was helpful on giving us the most logical pricing options. About the location: this is located downtown inside the adventure zone building. You will need to find parking and most likely pay to park either on the street or the lot. Looks are deceiving. It looks small from the outside but there was plenty of wall and a back area for bouldering. There was also a seating area upstairs. Along with Ben, Anthony helped us get set and both were very patient and friendly with our group. We had many first time climbers and they both encouraged them and made them feel comfortable. Thank you so much for the amazing experience. Many of our youth said it was a highlight of the weekend.

Everything ran as smoothly as possible. Check in was quick and flawless. The workers were interactive with the kids and encouraging. They challenged the kids that were looking for challenges and they were so helpful to the kids that were hesitant to climb.
