My only problem was this store was obviously set up back before Covid and the aisles are extremely narrow and one can't help but being right on top of other shoppers (most of whom are clueless entitled idiots from 'the city' who can't figure out how to get out of the way or maintain social distance). The CBD products had me flocking to the back wall to try a few items as I was looking for a balm for a sore shoulder. Recently, PHM relocated to a much larger space and has increased inventory tremendously. This is a true small business that has become successful within a couple of years through hard work, tenacity and solid business acumen. I have purchased several items from PHM for myself and as gifts for family. I tend to lean towards the essential oil blends and some of the CBD products - but there are tons of other items to choose from including clothing, books, yummy candies/snacks, protein/sports powders...even cool stuff for pets. My personal favorite essential oil blend is called "Calm Your Ass Down" (yes...I love the names of these products as well). This blend smells awesome and I use it with my pre-bedtime routine (it's a small roll-on that I dab behind my ears and on my wrists). I've also used it on especially stressful work days. This particular blend does not contain any CBD, but many other options do. I'm a big fan of CBD products in general - as long as they're high quality and the source is known. The owner of PHM is adamant about quality and purity in her products (as many of these she brews herself). Other CBD products are also available from PHM - I really like Luce Farms (a Vermont based company) and she carries several of Luce's items. Two of the other essential oil blends that Angel (that's the owner's name) sells/makes (that I've used) are: "Not Today" and "Joint Juice". Everything works as advertised and really helps with my pain relief/preventative care. I will mention - again - that PHM is truly a "boutique" that's jam packed all kinds of really interesting items. Almost everything is available for purchase via website or app (yes...there's an app for that!). So, if you're like me and living like a hermit, order stuff and ship it to your home. One more thing - Angel and PHM get involved with local community matters and are always giving back in different ways. It's been fun and exciting to watch the growth of this local small business. But the older woman who I presume was the owner was extremely nasty & condescending to me. I was very polite I asked if she would be interested in a beautiful pair of Italian retro red hand-made ALL leather disco boots from the 70s in perfect condition. She took one look & said to me that they were not appealing in which my response is as I wrote above and that I would take my business elsewhere. It would've been totally fine to politely decline. There were other customers there that clearly were locals and she was very nice to them hence maybe the other positive reviews. As I walked out the door after ((politely)) telling her that I would just take my business elsewhere I heard her make a snide remark "good for you" snickering with her entourage. I was very disappointed when we entered the store. There was a sign on the door asking that all…read morepeople who entered to please wear a mask or face covering, and the staff would do the same. We had face masks on and entered to find 2 elderly woman working in the store. The one behind the counter had a mask, but it was pulled down below her chin as she talked on the phone, the other woman didn't even have one on. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer as you entered, and we used it. There were people that entered after we had, and the woman without the mask had the nerve to ask the people to "Please Use The Hand Sanitizer" Sadly at that point we left the store without purchasing anything that we had intended to. In these uncertain times I would hope the retail stores in a tourist town would take better safety precautions to keep our towns safe.
