Instructors should be reminded headlights are to be on when it's foggy so that other drivers on the road can see them. Otherwise you can cause accidents. Headlights are not only to provide visibility for the driver itself but other drivers on the road. Therefore I do not recommend this business if the instructor(s) can't be bothered to make sure their headlights are on while tea co one somebody to drive

Beware! I called to see about having my son do drivers training and ended up having to leave a…read moremessage. In the message I said my son was 18 and goes to Golden Valley HS. Joanne called back that evening and I was told the cost would be $410. We set up my son's 1st lesson for that coming Saturday. I received a text message the day before confirming date and time. I responded confirming the price of $410 as well and she said yes. When she showed up we were waiting on my son and I handed her a check for the full amount even though only partial was required. In conversation she asked about a car in our driveway. She said she would like to buy one for her granddaughter. I mentioned my daughter did lessons through All American and even though my son is 18 and doesn't technically need to take the lessons we wanted him to get the experience of driving with someone who isn't his parents. She then said, "Oh he's 18?!" I replied, yes. She then went on to say, well that's different and it costs $200 more if he is 18. I told her I said in my message he was 18. She said she didn't listen to the message, she just calls back missed calls. I was dumbfounded and felt obligated to continue as she was already at my house. His lessons were done no different than other student drivers, he was picked up and dropped off at high school the same as other students. I was charged $610 simply because my son had just turned 18. Nearly a 50% increase. Many other places are half that price. I had asked Joanne to reconsider the additional charge, as schools did not offer Drivers Ed classes due to covid when he could have started the process. Along with him being older in his grade played a part in lessons being prolonged, but no response. My son even asked her to reconsider the additional charge and she told him she doesn't give discounts. I think she saw nice cars in a driveway and was looking for a chance to price gouge. I should have gone elsewhere. Had she been up front from the beginning when I received her call back, I would not have gone with this company. This company has different owners since my daughter took lessons and it shows. Beware!

They have very old truck for yard training. I spent few hours on that and my shoulders were totally gave up. Owner Belly has some serious matter with him. I called this school to rent their truck for CDL test and they agreed upon it. I drove all the way from LA to Fresno, 4 hr drive. Once I got their, and talked to the owner. He said, sorry his truck is already booked but he can fit me in by replacing somebody. I spent the whole day over there at the end of the day. Owner said, it looks like to me you are not ready for test. I said, what the F*? I drove for 4hrs for nothing. At the same, I walked over to other truck schools around in that area and asked if somebody has a truck available for testing. Finally, I got one school and pay double the amount I have fixed with this school. I practiced two days and on Monday pass my CDL. My advise to other people...do not waste your time and money. This place is a junk (visit there and see) and people are very unprofessional.

What a beautiful campus…read more Came here for a conference and it was so refreshing to be on a campus that wasn't over 50 years old. The campus opened around 2005 and still looks brand new. Their fields, buildings, and lakes are all pretty. I went to the bookstore and got a pendant for my collection. I hope they keep up the beauty and appearance of the campus as years go on.

As an educator for 27 years, I cannot stress this enough...DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL…read more There is absolutely nothing to do at this school. The town is too far away to be of any use (not that it's a great college town anyway, but at least it has a sandwich shop). There are no clubs, no activities, no reason to be there. I may get some flack about some small random club, but you can compare their website to any other university and judge for yourself. Students returning state they hate it. It's just a money grab. My son slipped into major depression there, sought help and was told by a counselor "you will never beat your depression". How incredibly F-up is that?!? I took it with a grain of salt, that it was his interpretation of the situation, but ultimately made the call to drive down at midnight and pull his ass out of there. Glad I did, got him the help that he really needed. Just talked to a former student that went there this semester, same story, so I'm writing this review. So parents, be very aware, you are going to have to check on your child's well being often. I would not trust anything about this campus, and it's their own doing. Please listen to them and don't be afraid to pull them out.
