Downpayment was just under 15% of total cost with interest free monthly payments stretched out over the two years. Also halfway through they had to change from Invisalign to braces because they were unable to complete the process (even tho I still am paying the extra $1,500 for Invisalign that didn't work). The only thing about the office that is worth going is because the workers are very nice and good to be around. However, they are severely overwhelmed with patients and often I have to wait in a long line of people winding down the hallway for what turns out to be a 5 minute appointment. I would not recommend nor would I go to them again given the chance.

I had been a client for years with insurance through my employer (the same employer the whole time…read moreI was a client) until i showed up yesterday for a 6 month checkup. Upon arrival the lady at the front desk told me they couldn't find my insurance coverage. I asked so does this mean I have to pay out of pocket tody and she said yes. I informed her that I have the same employer with insurance through Delta. I have always showed up and they just handled the insurance based on I told them who I was and who I worked for. I verified with my employer that I have been paying into my dental plan and I have been. So then I checked with delta and sure enough they were easily able to find my account and that it is still active. Long story short it's a 45 minute drive to get to this appointment only to be told that I didn't have dental coverage. I am not sure where the confusion was but it was clearly not between me and Delta. And then to top it off she said she thought she noticed an issue a couple of days before I atrrive. and yet she let me show and put me in a defensive position totally unprepared and be given a choice to pay out of pocket for the appointment when preventative checkups are covered with no out of pocket. Then to finally really top it off it is a 45 minute drive to get there for me - so 90 minute roundtrip wasted WHEN I DO HAVE INSURANCE COVERAGE and the $5,000 INVISALIGN DR CHRISTINA TRIED TO PUSH ON ME - NO CHANCE NOW

Staff is great from the front office to the hygienists to Dr. Wilkins. Couldn't imagine moving at this point. It's such a shame that patients and parents put trust and so much money into this practice only to be treated so poorly. Dr Vorhies is an old man, who should have retired long ago. We addressed our concerns to him and his staff repeatedly but his behavior only persisted and grew worse. Along with having such a bitter, hateful attitude, he also performed extremely lazy work. As I may just sound like an angry patient/parent, I also want to share that three conversations with three other patients and parents on three different occasions resulted in complete agreement. Another mother stated that her son was so frustrated with Dr Vorhies that he was refusing to go back. Same here. Never going back. I would seriously rather spend thousands more dollars elsewhere than ever subject my kid to this man's abuse. My child has every interaction with him recorded and it is appalling to hear his words and tone as he's with her. Hopefully he realizes someday soon that he should retire.

When I graduated and moved to my own insurance, I ended up switching to a different dentist. When some old issues arose (TMJ related), I was trying to figure out who I would go to who would be trustworthy and helpful. I immediately remembered Dr. Gillum. His website is comprehensive and explains a lot of different treatments that they offer. When I went in for my first appointment, it was amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and took all of the time that I needed in order to share my concerns regarding my jaw and the frequent headaches I had been having. In addition to the wonderful staff, I have found them to be very accommodating when it comes to making payments. They really are just there for the patient. They want you to feel seen, heard, and understood. I work primarily with Kim and LOVE her. She's so kind and lovely, personable and sweet, and listens to what it is that I need and what I'm looking for. I am so thankful to be under their current treatment at this time and will continue to go to Dr Gillum as my primary dentist.
