It's was a small amount of items that needed moving so maybe we overpaid but for the relief of the burden on us and the confidence in these guys that they had it handled, it was worth it for us. I had a very disappointing experience with Rapid Moving and Trucking and would not recommend this…read morecompany based on our experience. The company sent two movers to our home, and from the beginning, their professionalism and work ethic were concerning. Both movers were wearing slip-on sandals while handling and moving our furniture. They damaged multiple pieces of our furniture, dented our brand-new refrigerator, scratched other items, and failed to properly cover our furniture, leaving several pieces dirty. The biggest issue was how slowly the move was handled. The movers took frequent breaks and would return smelling strongly of marijuana. They also worked in a very inefficient manner. Rather than completing one room or task before moving on, they would partially disassemble one bed, leave it unfinished, and then move on to another bed or another area of the house. They repeatedly jumped between different tasks instead of completing things in an organized and efficient way. Because of how slowly they worked, we were charged additional time, which was extremely frustrating considering the condition our belongings were left in and the damage that occurred. After the move, I contacted Rapid Moving and Trucking to address my concerns and was told that the owner would call me back. That call never came. I gave the company an opportunity to address the situation, but unfortunately, my concerns were not followed up on. Moving is already stressful enough without having to worry about your belongings being damaged or your time and money being wasted. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Rapid Moving and Trucking and would encourage anyone considering them to carefully research other options first. Update to Owners Response: Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, your reply further demonstrates why we were disappointed with the service we received and defiantly shows why no one should use your company. Your response is unprofessional and contains several statements that are simply not true, and I want to correct the record. First, the owner never reached out to us during or after the move, and he never personally offered us any resolution. We did not decline a remedy from the owner because no such offer was ever made. The owner never returned any of our calls, let alone reach out to us to offer any sort of resolution. It took a public review for you to even acknowledge what happened. Second, your statement that we did not disclose the refrigerators is also false. Both refrigerators were included in our original quote. They were not surprise items added when your movers arrived, as you are now claiming. We have documentation of the original quote and can substantiate this. Third, the condition of the refrigerator is not the only reason for our complaint. Your movers damaged multiple pieces of our furniture, including our bedroom set, were rough with our belongings despite being asked to handle them more carefully, and the move took considerably longer than expected. These are legitimate concerns that we experienced firsthand. We also provided lunch because we were trying to be considerate of your employees and help make an already difficult moving day go more smoothly. Your attempt to portray that situation as though we were unwilling to feed your employees or were simply upset about them eating is misleading and honestly tacky. I would think you would want to explain why your movers smelled of marijuana and appeared under the influence instead but I guess that would be a difficult issue to lie about. Most concerning, however, is your decision to bring my son, my family, and my religious beliefs into a business dispute. Your comments about my son supposedly damaging the refrigerator, as well as your references to my church and forgiveness, are completely inappropriate and have nothing to do with the service your company provided. We are entitled to honestly share our experience, just as you are entitled to respond professionally. We both know my son did not damage our "brand new - inside fridge". The fridge your movers damaged was inside the house. My son did not hit it with a baseball or his scooter, but we both already know that. You are entitled to disagree with our review, but you are not entitled to rewrite what happened. We have documentation of the damage, and our firsthand experience of the move. We left our review to accurately describe our experience so that other customers can make an informed decision. Your response does not change what happened, and the personal attacks in your response only reinforce our concerns about the professionalism we experienced. We stand by our review.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!…read more These people spent yesterday and this morning packing up my house. I have to say - they are the most professional and the most pleasant people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They were so nice to us, and they got their job done in a quick span of time. Even when we asked for a favor, they were nice enough to accommodate us. I could not be happier with their service! I absolutely recommend them!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this moving company during my military PCS move…read more From the beginning, the move was poorly handled. They were nearly late for the required delivery window and ultimately arrived on the 5th day at around 4:00 PM. The crew did not leave until approximately 11:00 PM, yet they still did not finish assembling some of my furniture and other items. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. Several of my household goods were damaged, and some items were missing. They also damaged the flooring in my home and initially tried to deny responsibility for it, which made an already stressful situation even worse. The claims process was also a nightmare. Instead of feeling like the company was trying to make things right, I felt like I had to constantly fight to get my issues addressed. Military families already deal with enough stress during a PCS. We trust moving companies to take care of our belongings and deliver them safely and on time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on the condition of my belongings, the incomplete work, the damage to my home, the missing items, and the difficult claims process, I cannot recommend this company. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve how they handle military moves and, most importantly, how they treat military families when something goes wrong

MILITARY SERVICEMEMBERS, MAKE SURE THIS COMPANY IS ON YOUR LIST OF TSPs TO AVOID!…read more I regret not looking at reviews for this company and letting the military choose my TSP for me. It looks like not much has changed in six years and "Bobby B's" review on 4/17/2014 is on point. My experience was similar. The movers arrived a day late (without notifying me), then did what was a planned two day pack and load job in one day. The driver was rude and tried to change the delivery date from the one I had agreed upon weeks before. Mia Garza is a real piece of work. When I called her about this she had every excuse under the sun for the late arrival and delivery date change. Apparently personal responsibility is not a value at Lemoore Van & Storage (You're e-mail signature literally says "Dispatcher/Move Coordinator" Mia. In what way is this NOT your responsibility?) In addition to being grossly incompetent packers (ex. on arrival I discovered a entire large frame with a painting that was packed with NO packing paper, broken of course), the movers were rushed and a number of items went on the truck without tags. Numerous items were damaged. Their claims adjuster, Patti, instead of making things right, low-balled almost every item they carelessly broke or misplaced. When I forwarded it to the military claims office she claimed I did not give her enough info to prove value (she had my contact info, all she had to do was ask). This is a disorganized, and extremely unprofessional moving company. It would not surprise me the only reason they survive here is because they have a government contract. Fellow service-members, lets fix this by A) avoiding this TSP and B) taking the time (as much as it is a pain) to write an honest review. Hopefully that will prevent more of our tax dollars being wasted on this sad excuse for a moving company.

The company was selected for us by the military, so if you're doing a military move, and this is the company chosen for you, ask for another one. The packers were very careless and obviously untrained. We had numerous items broken, scratched, or torn. Items were not wrapped properly, or not wrapped at all. Instead of emptying dressers to move them, they actually packed more items into the dressers and this cracked some of the drawers and broke the items inside the drawer. At one point, they dropped a tool box full of tools, nails, and other hardware, and just left it there. We had to clean it up. Additionally, one of the movers was a self-confessed felon, having just been released from prison. When I filed a claim with the company, Jeanette, the owner, refused to pay for the damages, saying we didn't file the claim in a timely manner, according to her 'policy. This is untrue as the policy says 'we should file', not you 'have to file' within 75 days. This caused me to have to refile the claim through the military, which is a longer process. When I tried to work with Jeanette, discussing the above problems and asking for my reimbursement, she was condescending and very unwilling to do the right thing. She is obviously just in it for the money and has no value on customer satisfaction.
