My traveling companion mistakenly brought an expired passport to SFO. She discovered that fact just after Lamorinda Taxi dropped us off. Traffic was slow and she would have missed our international flight if she made a round trip to Lafayette to get the new one. I immediately called Asad and asked how quickly he could send a driver to pick up the passport from a neighbor who had access to my friend's apartment. He found a driver within 5 minutes. That driver delivered the passport to SFO with 15 minutes to spare before the window to check bags closed. Lamorinda Taxi literally saved our vacation. By far the most prompt taxi. They actually arrive a few minutes early in case you want to get a jump on airport departure. We've even used them at 3:30 AM for an airport trip and they were spot on! They cover Lafayette and Pleasant Hill amongst many surrounding communities. Rates are competitively reasonable. Highly recommend this budding business. Tried Lamorinda Taxi this past week for the first time: 6:00 AM weekday pickup at Walnut Creek home to OAK Southwest Terminal, and 3:30 PM weekend pickup at United Airlines SFO Terminal 3 Domestic for return home. Both pickups were prompt, right on schedule. Both drivers were excellent behind the wheel and courteous, and each driver's car was of superior quality: late model, clean inside and out, and odor-free. In addition, and very important, Asad was always immediately accessible and responsive by phone whenever I had questions. We had an excellent experience booking Asad for transportation to/from Chase Center for an evening concert last Sunday. The booking process was very easy, and Asad texted me the day before the event to confirm the ride. Then, he was on time to pick us up and when the concert was over he was right outside Chase Center waiting for us and got us home safely and promptly.
