Customers were social distancing in the bright, clean store. This location has a wide range of styling products, braiding hair and weaves/extensions and supplies. I waited at the high-end wig counter for my turn and was warmly greeted by a sister who retrieved the item I needed. She also gave me some great tips on how to style it. I picked up a few styling tools and was helped by a friendly cashier who enrolled me in their loyalty program. All in all, a great shopping experience. Although they are not Black-owned I didn't mind spending my money there for one simple reason: they treated me and everyone else in the store like a valued customer. I say this because their larger competitor (starts with a "C") has discriminatory language printed on their sales receipts, suggesting their patrons engage in criminal behaviour. While the quality lacefronts are a bit on the expensive side, they are still worth the cost to buy Canadian instead of shopping with a U.S. retailer (and having to pay tax, high shipping costs and customs fees). I will be sure to return...that is, if I don't find a Black-owned beauty supply first.

He proceeded and open the product it was dripping on the counter and on the receipt he then attempted to charge me $2+ for it stating that he can not sell the product again. To make a long story short as a customer I trusted him to buy his product unseal and he the manager did not trust and respect me enough to listen to me, because I did not agree with what he was implying. He became very angry and threw the product towards me in rude volatile manner and stated take your product I dont like your attitude. Bad customer service I will not recommend anyone to buy their beauty products at this store.

You have to pay the $5 tax on the coupon after your appointment, they don't ask you to give a tip but I did because they were great and I felt I should tip them because the value of the service was originally $160 but I got it for $35. Tips: Don't open your eyes right away after its done or your eyes may sting, they'll tell you to leave it close for 10-15 mins to allow the clue to dry. It is applied one lash at a time for those wondering and on your eyelash and not your skin.

Last Wednesday, I had dinner at an eatery on Kennedy Road. As I was driving home heading northbound on this road, I needed a Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM). I could have visited my local one, but I wanted to try a SDM that I had never been to. I remembered this drugstore that I always drive by, but have never visited. It's the Agincourt Mall location, but it's a standalone store on the northwest corner of Kennedy and Sheppard Avenue East. Eons ago, this corner used to have an M&M's Food Market. It was my first time ever visiting this franchise. It's sadly gone. There was lots of parking here at around 6:30 pm. I found a parking spot fairly close to the entrance and backed into it. I then walked in. Like most SDM stores, this one is set up as expected. You walk through the doors and the beauty section greets you. I needed toothpaste. The oral hygiene aisle was close by. I was pleased to grab a tube of Sensodyne toothpaste that was on sale. It is a large store. It was bright and clean when I was there. I have been using facial wipes lately. I like how they clean my eyelashes and eyelids nicely. These wipes are a party of my dry eye care. I found a package of Nivea facial wipes that were heavily reduced. I grabbed a package. I briefly looked at the vitamin section. A lot of them were on sale. I enjoyed looking at the Easter merchandise and the plushies. Nothing was on sale, but everything was so cute! I checked out the cold drinks. I needed a beverage. I got two bottles of Diet Pepsi. The Diet Pepsi hit the spot as I drove home. This store has self-checkout kiosks. There wasn't a human available. I had no problem scanning everything, followed by my PC Optimum barcode on my phone. I paid with a credit card. I tapped my phone and my payment was done. I like that this store is open till midnight. The hours are much better than my local one that closes at 8 pm. I'm so glad that I finally visited this store. I'd return to this store when I'm in the area. (102)
