She tracked down Greenworld because they sell their cuttings at much cheaper prices than you'd find at a florist. On Saturday morning, four of us hopped in a car stocked with Isles puppy dog tails and coffee and shlepped ourselves to North Branch to check it out and pick out which cuttings she wanted for the arrangements. You have to make an appointment during their off-season---they are not open to the public otherwise. I've NEVER seen so many succulents in one place. Mainly, the greenhouse is full of hundreds of kinds that I had never seen ever. Strange rose-mimicking plants, bright orange and purple colors, furry friends, snowball cacti... and a new kind of aloe plant that looks like a cylon basestar (nerd alert). For example, did you know that you are supposed to clip succulents fairly often and then replant the clippings. Otherwise some of them just get tall and sad. He was nice enough to make cuttings for a wedding inspiration board, so to speak. We messed around with combinations of different plants for a while and then let him know what the plan was. After that, I roamed the aisles again and picked our some new additions to my own succulent family (I've covered my whole bay windowsill with them). I picked our four good size plants that were only $5 each and not things you'd typically see in a store. Normally, they do accept credit cards, but it's cash or check during the off-season. The cylon plant has shown no signs of attacking the other plants, but there are many copies... and they have a plan.

Later in the day, I open one of the wall flower scents, put it in the plug and plugged it in. I put the extras in a plastic contain in my hutch for later. The next day, I was walking through my kitchen and saw 2 circles of bare wood on my table. My boyfriend said he saw it earlier and wiped it up and it was sticky. I realized, that's where the wallflower scents were laying. They leaked and completely removed the finish in the 2, two-inch circles! So, warning....do not let leaky wallflowers remain on your wood. I need to re-stain and poly my tabletop!

But NO…read more- I was surprised to find that most of their items were very reasonably priced compared to the big box stores. They usually have what you need in stock, even if it's in a small quantity. Some great little garden items and a Koi pond for the kids to check out as your walking through. Staff is usually abundant and eager to help out get you what you need. It's worth stopping by to check out what specials they have before you hit the big box stores for gardening/pet/landscape supplies.

However, when we got home and put the sectional together we realized the back wood frame on the corner piece was cracked. We immediately called the store. Lee said a new center would be shipped to the Duluth store within the week. We called him back to ask if it could just be delivered to our house since they would be passing our area( Mahtowa) and for us to go to the mall area of Duluth is a 50 mike drive one way. He wouldn't return our calls. We went to the Duluth store to pick up or center unit. Not only did we have to drive a total of 100 miles (50 one way) to get it.... We were charged $10. Not sure why. Ashley Furniture North Branch lost us as a customer today over a $99 delivery fee! We found an…read more"Ashley item" on a national website offering free delivery and setup. The Ashley Store apparently could not compete because "the item was a special order (6-8 weeks for delivery although their competition said the piece would be delivered by thanksgiving). The Ashley store employee then showed us another piece that was again offered at a cheaper price per the competitors website and was also offered with free delivery and setup. The "Ashley Store" then refused to match the competitors offer after telling us "they would match ANY online offer". Anyway, this is their loss, not ours. We have been a very good customer making multiple purchases from this store (including a kitchen set, living room set and a bedroom set) and now I guess we'll just buy from online retailers from now on. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY, Shop online before you make your decisions as there are better deals out there! We're NEVER GOING BACK GOING BACK TO ASHLEY or Furnituremart (note that they are the same company). UPDATE.... Ashley has now emailed us twice since the above review, telling us that we have items in our shopping cart and must act NOW to get the BEST deal! Sorry Ashley, you've already lost us!!!! They expect taxes and fees to be paid up front (which is ALMOST understandable) but then, they expect a 25% deposit on special orders. TWENTYFIVE PERCENT!!! Not only that, but you cannot use their Well Fargo zero interest to pay that deposit. Nope, you have to use a different credit card or cash/debit. What's the point of zero interest and financing if we can't even use the card? Nope, I'm paying off my previous zero interest loan and NEVER purchasing from them ever again.

One bedroom set the draw was installed improperly and I don't even use the drawer due to its very difficult to slide and my living room furniture side table was missing a foot and was told that it would be ordered and shipped to me. It's been two months and I called and Slumberland was not made aware of this problem.
